Great place to watch sports. Plenty of TVs to choose from and will accommodate game channel requests. Great beer selections. Didn't get food so no rating.

Review of ajs on the bayou jalapeño poppers and fried mushrooms.

Both items are tasty. I liked them a lot.

This place is a locals spot for sure. After living here for a year I can say the food is fine. I love the fried green tomato’s and the seafood boil I had was good too, but nothing I’ve had so far was great. However, sitting on the patio can sometimes be unappealing if the dumpster smell is blowing. The first time I went here we had to switch tables because of the awful smell.
It’s a decent spot, but there’s better in FWB.

The gumbo was taste like Campbell soup gumbo from the can with hot lots of hot sauce added. They should be ashamed to call it award winning gumbo. The hole meal for all four of us was bad. The all you can eat was a no go. You would have to be drunk or have no taste buds to say the food good enough to ever return and give them $100.00 for what we were severed.

By far the worst service I’ve ever had. We could hear the kitchen staff yelling that our appetizer was ready and our lazy waitress was no where to be found. Another waitress brought it to us after I asked if our waitress left for the day. After bringing our drinks, we only saw her when she brought the check. I had to go get my own to go box. Now the food…. We use to love the food here. Pick 2 consisted of 4 shrimp and a tiny piece of fish. 🙄 Lobster roll was on TOAST. Never again.

It is a nice little restaurant overlooking Cinco Bayou. The food is OK and they have a decent selection of drinks. It is a good hangout spot.

Our server, Carrie was UH-mazing! She made this so memorable for us. The food was sooo good. Our kids even ate their food, that's rare. We enjoyed this so much! Thanks from Tennessee.

Horrible experience, waitress was not attentive at all, didn’t ask if the food was okay, got almost everyone’s drinks wrong, one of the members of my party didn’t get his food at all. 0/5 stars for service.

Our first stop on our annual drive South. We all anticipate our first fish of the week and we are never disappointed. AJ's house beer and cocktails are wonderful, as well. We ate outside and our kids were cooking due to a lack of shade. We could have asked to move, of course. We will be back again!

Went to AJ's to have the prime rib special, on 9/26/24.
We sat down ( at 4:30) to order and asked about the prime rib special, we were told by our server that they were closing at 5 (due to storm I assume)but they would still serve us, she then told us there was no prime rib due to the closing early.
We decided on the sirloin, we were then told no bake potato, so went with the fries and a salad.
I would have assumed the salad would have been served first, but no, it came out with the steak, the fries were luke warm, the steak was luke warm, but was cooked medium as ordered.
I would have preferred that we be notified of the early closing and the lack of the prime rib, when the hostess seated us, and would have preferred the salad before the steak arrived.
Not thrilled with service and food we received.
