This place is great! Atmosphere is relaxed and up beat. Service is friendly and spot on. Food was the best we’ve had all week!

Arrived at 8:50 and at 9: we 9:30 we finally have a server come out and we are told the kitchen was closed. We told them they had 10 pm on Google and they said it was wrong. We were offered a free round of drinks that since I was there with my wife, my kids, and my granddaughter. that did not help. We actually were greeted and sat by a hostess, had a manager of some kind greet us and nobody bothered telling us they weren't serving food. By the time we left Hungry Howie's on the mainland was our only food option. Unless you're there for the bar outside that smelled like a dumpster at the time. Pass on by. They could have told us walking in, but they sat us down and then after waiting , told us they weren't serving food. Tried to make it better by giving a free round of drinks to a family complete with 4 year old. That's not good.

We arrived about 35min before closing. They had live music, quite a few patrons eating, and we just wanted some food to go. They didn't serve us. It looks like they closed the kitchen early despite having so many patrons there.

Food has been the best since I’ve been in area! Place run down and old. Still has a theme. But sometimes that’s where you find the best food!!

Pretty good. Waitress was excellent. Place has a good beach bar atmosphere. Food was just ok. Value was fair. Had no drinks so can't tell you on that.

This was our 1st time coming here in our 3rd visit to the area. Dawn our waitress was awesome! She was very attentive and super nice. We started off with two appetizers (mozzarella balls & spinach/artichoke dip). The mozzarella balls were delicious. The crust/coating was sooo good. The spinach/artichoke dip was just as awesome. They came with homemade pita chips that just came out of the fryer/oven with some spices on them that made the dip taste so good. I had the wagyu beef sliders with homemade onion rings and coleslaw. My wife had the mahi Oscar with rice and asparagus. There was so much food and it all tasted very good. We will be back to eat here again.

The cook should be fired plain and simple.. no aspiration or desire to give the customer a plate which is edible... One of the worst, service ok and that's a stretch, atmosphere great... Simply said

The place wasn't busy but the waitress still took 30 minutes to get our drinks, mixed up drinks, forgot items etc. When we finally get our food it was horrible. My friends soup was like a salt lick, all of my food was horrible as well. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially for how much they charged.

Very cool bar with lots of locals. The food is awesome and if I had to put a warning out there, do not over order because the portions are huge, especially the appetizers. I highly recommend the wagu sliders. They were awesome. The service is very friendly and efficient and the drinks are awesome. Highly recommended spot in Fort Walton Beach. The entertainment on 30 August was especially good.

Here I am at the AJ's Shanti enjoying a pitcher of bud light after a long day of rain. My pitcher was going down slow and getting warm. I asked for a ice bag. Non to be found, Maddie thought oittside the box and brought a cool cooling gadget that solved the problem! Yay! Thank you Maddie as always!

Definitely worth experiencing. Never had a bad experience . Karaoke, live music. Check it out for sure.
