If you are in the Ft Walton area I highly recommend you stop by Coffee Ave for a coffee fix. Honestly one of the best coffee drinks I've ever had. The service was fast and friendly too. There are several cute outdoor seating arrangements with tropical plants and flowers. Really a great vibe. I will definitely return on my next visit.

I am a local who has always come to this coffee shop as long as they have been open. I love their coffee so much but I am annoyed for my sister who is a military wife of someone who is active duty and cannot get a 10% off discount when he is not there. I am also annoyed that veterans cannot get 10% off. I work for a place that gives 10% off for all veterans and military even if the person in the military isn't there. Being a military wife (especially with children) is not easy and if you have a sign that says "10% off for active duty military" then that should include their spouses. I do really really enjoy this place though, I just think this 10% off for military needs to be for everyone (veterans and spouses) or it needs the be taken off the glass and just give it to people you see in uniform.

The coffee just wasn’t good whatsoever. I couldn’t even stand it so I went back and got a refresher instead. The refresher was watered down, and had hardly any flavor. But the prices are reasonable and pretty cheap. Workers are really nice, but not the drinks.

Thought I would give a local owned business a shot and instantly regretted it when my drink came up by the time I could even pay/leave a tip. I could tell by the color that it was off, she offered to hand me kings sugar on the side. Got back to my Airbnb and didn’t like the taste. Once I called, one of the younger girls was very nice on the phone and told her I would be there within a few minutes. The second drink was even worse than the first, so when I asked for a refund, she said that they couldn’t since they they had already remade the drink. Make sure you know exactly what (I know what I like), but this isn’t the type of coffee I’m used to. The second drink tasted like the coffee had been sitting and had gotten scorched at the bottom of a pot, not really sure what that’s about?? The younger, light skinned girl needs a raise! She has the sweetest voice and a good personality unlike the young lady with the bleach blonde hair sticking her nose up overhearing I didn’t like the taste. Their drink pictured on the left versus my BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED and great tasting latte on the right from Dunkin.

I came here during vacation and ordered the iced sunset macchiato, it was delicious! I love how they transformed an old car wash that wouldve looked terrible, into something that is pretty and i love all the plants/decor and the seated area was nice and shaded. 10/10 the coffee, service, and atmosphere was wonderful.

Pictures do not do justice on how great this place is. I think it was nice to see that each drink/food truck was separated. I think the plants make the place even better! They even have comfy chairs!
