Hunan Express

If I was able to give 0 stars for the food I received from hunan express located off of racetrack Rd in Fort walton beach, Fl I would!
This is my experience and other people's experience with patronizing this business might have been good but mine wasn't!
I had a taste for some Chinese food because it's been a long time since I had some.
And I decided to try hunan express for the first time and I was very disappointed!
On sunday afternoon I ordered over the phone a large vegetable fried rice and I went there to pick up my order.
Once I made it back home I opened up the food container and I started eating but after eating 3 spoons of the vegetable fried rice,
I felt my stomach feeling extremely uncomfortable and I had to immediately run to the bathroom and afterwards I came back and picked up the container of chinese food and smelled it and it smelled like something in the vegetable fried rice was either spoiled or very old and should have been thrown away instead of them selling it to a customer,
So I threw the whole container of food in the garbage!
And I know the problem was this Chinese food because I didn't eat anything else out of the ordinary but this Chinese food!
And I will never patronize hunan express ever again!
The government should make it mandatory that all Restaurants have regular, random, and thorough inspections done on their restaurant.
So that all paying customers will get the good service that they deserve!!!

Hunan express is the best chinese restaurant in the ft walton beach area. The food and their prices are really good. Note they are carry out only. They are always polite and helpful. They start cooking your food immediately after it is ordered.

I suggest calling in your order before driving to them. So that your food is ready when you get there.

This place is just a huge disappointment closed on Monday for no reason every week makes me sad. Makes me want to replace this with open not closed Hunan Express what is going on why are you closed on Monday? You should be open seven days a week.

Came to place a To go order. Ordered the Orange chicken plate, it comes with a side of fried rice and egg roll. It was a huge portion and it was under $11. It was busy with to go/pick up orders, but the service was friendly, and I waited approx. 10 minutes. The food was delicious and I would recommend this if you are wanting Chinese food!

They don't even acknowledge the presence of customers no hello no good day or even look at me! Enough to leave the place and never come back! Thanks for nothing!

We've ordered from here a few times, it's always been good and the price is right. Friendly and quick service. My only complaint is that this time the to go boxes (particularly the rice containers) absolutely wreaked of cologne.. the food inside was fine, it was like someone that had soaked themselves in cologne handled the to go containers shortly after so some transferred onto them. I normally eat my rice out of the container but it was absolutely nauseating smelling it while eating, I had to put it in something else this time. We will definitely come back, but I just wanted to mention this as I hope this small issue could be remedied moving forward.
