I was in the mood for ribs and had never eaten at LaPlace Restauarant and I must say ..I will never eat ribs any other place. The food portion of ribs are very large , so much so I could not eat it all and have left overs for today. They were fall off the bone , the sides I ordered were amazing . The atmosphere is so laid back and very relaxing. I can't wait for the warm weather to experience the dinning outside. The owners are so very nice . This is an amazing place one of which I will tell everybody . Do yourself a favor and try this place. I guarantee you will come back . It's a5 star rating in my book from everything food portions , pricing , atmosphere 😋 I have more items to buy and try and I look forward to it 😀

So good you want to eat your napkins when you’re finished! Ribs are among the best I’ve ever had, perfect bark tender and fall of the bone with the perfect amount of give. So perfect you can enjoy the marrow from the rib bone itself. Service is exceptional and kind, like being home with family. Very southern country with soul and warmth, which is rare these days. Finest bbq around.

This place is a must stop for delicious bbq!! The ribs fell off the bone and didn't even need sauce but if you choose they make both of their sauces. The bbq baked beans and really all of their sides are fantastic! Definitely one of the best bbq places I've been! The owners are super friendly and made it a great experience!
Eating here was like going home to visit mama. The food is incredible, the service is great and fast. Above all, the woman helping us went out of her way to give great service, and great local attraction advice and recommendations.
The ribs were so delicious! Soft, fall off the bone with a flavorful rub. And a good size plate of them even at a half rack. We also ordered the brisket and the jerk chicken. Brisket was tender and savory with a nice Smokey flavor. The jerk sauce was so good we asked extra. The service was very attentive and we would recommend it to anyone.
Never had better brisket. The whole experience was amazing. Very hospitable.

If you are looking for great food, and a great atmosphere La Place BBQ is a must. Nina, is an amazing cook, with her homemade recipes, and wonderful person too. My wife and got the opportunity to eat dinner, and talk with Nina. We enjoyed both. La Place BBQ will definitely be on our list for future visit to Fort Walton.
