Myself and a couple of coworkers went to La Place for lunch on a recommendation and I'm sure glad that we did! The food and service was amazing and plentiful. There are no small servings of some of the best food that I've had out in a long time. The ribs were the best of any BBQ spot in the local area. I saw a chef salad go by and out appeared to be enough for at least two people. The exterior appearance the place is no indicator of how good it truly is. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend that no one sleeps on this restaurant.

Small family reunion. Everybody craving something other than fish AGAIN. Google search and this place popped up. Soooo glad it did! We are all mostly barbecue masters and 1 chef from AZ, TX, WI, These folks serve up an extremely large half rack at an unbelievable fair price, meat slipping off the bones but still firm enough you can chew and enjoy it. Perfect for you dry rub folks. Bbq sauce on the side. And of course the Texas sized pulled pork and brisket sandwiches.... deeeelicious!!! Owner was absolutely a joy to talk to. Small place....... big happy mouth experience.

Best RIBS ever! We stumbled on Nina La Place on a visit to the area from Colorado. What an amazing meal with such an amazing host ! Literally the best ribs we have had. The Jerk Chicken was also amazing! The Cuban sandwich as well as the coleslaw!
Was not expensive!
We travel a lot around America and now we have a favorite Rib joint! Highly recommended!

Hidden treasure in Fort Walton. Outstanding food and service. Definitely returning. Military discount. The homemade ginger dressing is amazing. Smoked chicken was delicious.

The first time I went there, I received military discount. The third time I went there to pick up food I ordered, shortly before they closed, I asked for military discount, but the woman told me, “Only if you’re in uniform.” Mind you, I’ve never been there in uniform, so why did I get a discount the first time but not the third time? Considering they weren’t going to offer military discount, I decided to leave. Obviously, they didn’t want my business, because instead of offering military discount, the man took the container of food and walked to the back of the trailer.
The owner never explained why he offered military discount the first time, considering only military in uniform receive a discount, according to his “policy.” Inconsistency is a poor business practice. I’m not offended, if I don’t receive a military discount. However, if you offer it once, you should offer it all the time, not when you feel like it. That’s why I left. Plenty of businesses in the area offer military discount, regardless if you’re in uniform or not. I wish I would’ve known your business practices, and your preferences, before I spent my money there.

First time here, I had the Hawaiian pork wrap. It was very good and I plan on returning as they have plenty of other options like the Cuban and barbecue ribs.

I was in the mood for ribs and had never eaten at LaPlace Restauarant and I must say ..I will never eat ribs any other place. The food portion of ribs are very large , so much so I could not eat it all and have left overs for today. They were fall off the bone , the sides I ordered were amazing . The atmosphere is so laid back and very relaxing. I can't wait for the warm weather to experience the dinning outside. The owners are so very nice . This is an amazing place one of which I will tell everybody . Do yourself a favor and try this place. I guarantee you will come back . It's a5 star rating in my book from everything food portions , pricing , atmosphere 😋 I have more items to buy and try and I look forward to it 😀

So good you want to eat your napkins when you’re finished! Ribs are among the best I’ve ever had, perfect bark tender and fall of the bone with the perfect amount of give. So perfect you can enjoy the marrow from the rib bone itself. Service is exceptional and kind, like being home with family. Very southern country with soul and warmth, which is rare these days. Finest bbq around.
