Came here pretty late on a Tuesday with my girlfriend. Restaurant was pretty empty so it was just us and the lady who owns the place and she was so hospitable it felt more like being cooked for in someones home than eating at a restaurant. She brought us out some warm tea and we got some fried chicken wings as an appetizer and they were amazing. The pad thai was hands down the best pad thai I've ever had and the green curry was incredible. Definitely cant wait to come back and try more of the stuff on the menu.

The owner is so friendly, you won’t be unhappy when you leave. She made some extra dishes for us to try because we came on Sunday ( they are open on Sunday because of how covid effected all restaurants) you should eat here and support your local family business.

I consider myself a Thai food fanatic. Lotus is the best Thai I have had in the FL panhandle! The owner/chef really made this a memorable lunch experience. We received over the top customer service and outstanding food made with fresh ingredients. The restaurant is hidden away in a strip center and not newly renovated but I go for the food not the decor. Go here if you want to be treated like family and experience the best I food available in Fort Walton Beach! I had the Pad Kee Mow made gluten-free with top shelf soy sauce.... it was fantastic and garnished with lots of fresh basil.

Ordered two Pad See Ews (tofu + chicken), delicious with wonderful service! They were out of mango sticky rice, but the owner offered addit. sides on our next visit! Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

Amazing Thai beef salad with 100% fresh vegetables that appear to just have been picked from the garden. Large portions too. Thank you for your friendly service. She gets to know you by name.

This is some of the best Thai food I have ever encountered. Magnificent! The kitchen looks spotless. The chef was clean and friendly. The beautiful lady running things is the kindest, most gracious host. I feel blessed having dined with them. 10/10

I stopped in for some pad Thai which I haven’t had in a long time. The lady at the register was super welcoming and friendly. The food was even better and all and all it was a great experience as I haven’t had Thai in so long. 10/10 recommend!

The owner is so kind she got me exactly what I wanted, even made sure what veggies I may have wanted in my vegetable green curry. The fried wontons were as fresh as could be! I love supporting a local business but on top of that she happened to tell me her mother taught her to cook "no book" she said which made me giggle a little, but it warms my heart knowing that maybe I can help support an ongoing tradition. It seemed to bring her joy when telling me about her mother teaching her to cook as did I.

Great food, friendly service. If you want authentic Thai food, go to Lotus Thai. Their takeout is great also if you need a break from the kitchen after a long day at work. I recommend the "paht kra prao." That's stir-fry with spicy Thai basil. You can get beef, chicken, or pork.
