A wonderful dinning experience! We have been going to this restaurant for our anniversary for 16 years. Great food, friendly staff. And a great owner! I recommend the Italian trio! But everything is very good!

This restaurant proved to be a timecapsule. While the atmosphere was quaint, the overall experience was less than appealing. Everything looks good, but the taste is a different story. The food, was very disappointing. I ordered the Italian Trio and every single item was microwaved, extremely hot on the outside and frozen on the inside. The chicken parmigiana was passable, but that was the only item I could actually eat. The lasagna was an absolute mess to try and dissect. My friend got the Filet Mignon and it was delicious. This restaurant should be classified as a simple steakhouse. Stick to what you know and excel at. Dusty and overwhelming atmosphere did not help with this experience at all. Linda was a phenomenal waitress and an absolute sweetheart.

Such a kind reception when we arrived. They could not have been nicer, greeter, waitress, owner. Checked on us a couple times, good old fashion hospitality. Chicken Alfredo was absolutely Divine. Twig has the liver, onions and peppers in a merlot sauce. It was a perfect dinner for our 50th year of marriage to a great guy!

The atmosphere was romantic and cozy. I had a seat near the fireplace which kept me warm while I enjoyed my food. The waitress was kind and cheerful. The food was reasonably priced. Best steak we have ever had at a restaurant. It actually tasted like steak - cooked correctly, and not overseasoned. The cheescake and the chocolate tort were divine. My only wish is that the crabcakes be made with real crabmeat and to be pan seared instead of deep fried. Aside from that the food was impeccable. We enjoyed listening to the 1930s/1940s music playing while we ate our meal. We loved talking with the owner Peggy Rice about the house and the community. We will definitely be back and wish many more successful years to this restaurant.

My wife and I stopped in Friday night after reading about this restaurant. We had a fantastic experience. The place was so nice loved hearing about the history of the home. The food was amazing. We had the tomahawk steak. It was one of the best tasting steaks I’ve had. Wonderful portions and the veggies were delicious also. We will definitely be back and have been recommending to our friends.

The portion on the steak was insultingly oversized. The amber jack fish was overly hot spiced. The hosts, memorabilia and setting were wonderful. Would go back but would not order those dishes again.

Amazing experience! I got the chicken piccata. Everything was great from the food to the service. The owner greets you at the door. They even invited my child to the kitchen to see everything. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Florida.
