Ocean Buffet

This place is super under-rated. This is the 2nd and 3rd time that I have been here. This spot is located by Fort Walton Beach/Mary Esther.

Parking lot is huge and they also have rear parking for trailer parking. I came here on a Saturday night and Friday night around 6:30p and surprisingly the crowd was light both nights.

This place is great! The crawfish is huge, fresh, and tasty. We had maybe 4 plates. They also give you a nice big bowl to place the crawfish shells into. The selection here is big and the made to cook hibachi is very tasty. They have different selections that your typical Chinese buffet doesn't have. I enjoyed the stuffed jalapeño, mussels, and coconut shrimp here. The sushi wasn't too tasty as it was old and hard.

The food is fresh and yet I just don't understand the horrible reviews and low stars. This place is definitely a 3.5 to 4 star place. Comparing to all the low budget Chinese buffets that I have ever been to, this place is in the elite status.

The ice cream is one of the best quality I have ever had at a Chinese buffet. It's hard to get because you have to scoop it yourself and not a machine.

I will definitely be coming back again when I am in town and I urge you to do the same.

Saw a roach run across the buffet table. Skipped through a crack and got away.

Pretty gross and spending $88 for myself and four kids in this nasty environment.

If you plan to come to the Ocean Buffet, do NOT eat anything the day before. There are so many choices and they are so good that you will be sad if you can't try at least a third of them. This is what a buffet should be!

A fairly pricy lunch for 2 adults and a 9 year old child, it was $49.91. However, with that said, It was very good food, friendly staff, and a clean environment. They offered a large assortment of selections, and I didn't find a single thing on the buffet that wasn't good. I was relieved they had pizza as an option for my kiddo, but even she broke out of her normal picky habits and tried a number of options even she liked. Overall, an almost 50 dollar lunch isn't always in our budget, but we left full and happy. We may not be a regular repeat customer but wouldn't rule it out again on occasion.

Food tasted old and expired. I told the lady we did not like the food minutes of be there. We paid our 80.00 bill and left having only tasted the terrible food.

For a quick AYCE meal, Ocean fits the bill.
The Sushi bar abd the Hibachl/Mongolian grill, both included in the price, are my choice for the best options over the buffet.
The buffet is simple with many Amer-Asian style choices.
Chicken in peanut sauce, beef and broccoli, various noodle sizes and rice. The menu is tired, rarely changing from one visit to the next. When its the only buffet choice of it's type in town...let's just leave it at the menu is consistent.

This place is disgusting. Food is very low quality. The interior is run down. The service is beyond worse. The waitress gave us the check while we're eating.

The food it's amazing, just the rush for us to leave that I didn't like.

The rest was great.

If I could give zero stars I would. It was terrible. I don’t even know where to start. The sushi sat out so long the avocado was brown. The food that should be warm was cold. My son gagged on the pizza and he isn’t picky when it comes to pizza. The waitress never came to refill our drinks. We should have walked out as soon as we were seated because of how gross our booth was. The wall was black and had holes in it. The bench was sticky. $100 and none of us got full but it was so nasty. Also they have signs up saying for every plate that you waste food on is an additional $3.95. When you have to put that up that means your food is nasty and people can’t eat it.

Very good buffet alot better than Fuji in Destin. The food here is fresh, hot and very flavored, the employees are nice the restaurant is clean definitely recommend!

Food was disgusting. I watched a worker swat a fly out of the air and it landed dead in rice pudding she picked it out and threw it on floor and went to walk away until she noticed me, looked me in the eye grabbed the tray and walked away. Upon returning she had put it back. Ew. I went here despite reviews and I regret it.

I like the Mongolian style bbq with all the veggies, meats, & spices you want; I'm glad at least one place in town still has it. The Chinese Buffet is pretty good too for the price.

food was luke warm and soft. Didn’t finish first plate. The host was able to discount but still paid $30 for half a plate up nasty food. Maybe it was a bad night but I won’t be coming back
