Very popular place. The food and service are always top notch. *they did change thier buffalo chicken sandwich from a single patty to chicken stripe. I'm not too happy about that.

We’ve been to The Shack several times on our visits to Fort Walton, and it never disappoints! The food is absolutely worth the wait. Every staff member—from the hostess to the server to the food runners—is incredibly friendly and welcoming.
I’m a huge seafood lover, and this visit was amazing. The crab legs were cooked to perfection, and the potatoes and corn on the cob were spot on. Truly a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

Service was fine. Food was overcooked. FF and coleslaw were ok, but fried clams and hush puppies very overcooked. Been here other times when in the area, today was not impressed. Will probably try again when passing through.

The best dining experience we had in Ft. Walton Beach! Loved getting to eat right on the water. The food was perfect, came out fast, and our server was lovely and very attentive. Very family-friendly place. Would totally go back.
