Mediocre at best..meat had little to no flavor(its bbq!!!where's the smoke flavor?) burnt ends looked and tasted like they were made in a crockpot, some of the ribs were fall off the bone,and some were tough as jerky, pulled pork was the best out of the 3 but still lacked flavor unless it was slathered in sauce,(which they do have an excellent variety of sauce) baked beans were good, coleslaw wasn't hitting on much, place was clean and the staff was very friendly could have been...read full review
I absolutely LOVE a good BBQ Pork sandwich! I'm of the opinion that if you have to add sauce, it's not good BBQ. The Parson's Son BBQ does not need a drop of sauce! It is absolutely wonderful without it. Their sides a fantastic as well. Do yourself a favor and go eat there!

I will admit upfront, I am a bit of a BBQ snob. With that said, Parson's is just "OK" in my opinion. The BBQ and sides are nothing to write home about, but they will do in a pinch if you are really craving BBQ. The cobbler, however, was out of this world! If you like to drown your BBQ in sauce, this is the place for you. They have a pretty cool condiment bar with lots of sauce options, pickles, etc.
