We had such a wonderful experience at Rive Café! The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious! The staff was so friendly and welcoming, and they really took the time to help us decide what to order, which made the whole experience even better.
We even had the chance to meet the manager, Mikail, who was fantastic with both the team and the guests. It was clear that they truly care about creating a positive atmosphere. Mikail gave us some great suggestions to enhance our sandwich, and it turned out amazing!
Overall, this café has everything you want: excellent food, outstanding service, and a warm, inviting vibe. Highly recommend!

top five breakfast sandwiches of my life
Bangin!!! I got the burrito and a bagel breakfast sandwich, 10/10. Homie that served me was polite and friendly, food was fresh and delicious. Place has great vibes too, I’d go back for sure.

Place used to be great. Now it’s wait in line for 40minutes and wait another 45 minutes on your average food to be ready.

The employees were so sweet. The food was fresh and delicious! I asked for avocado toast on Cuban bread. I ended up eating mine after my acai bowl! Excited to come back when in town .

Excellent place, very tasty and original, BUT! The staff is extremely slow 🤦♂️ They come across as lazy and arrogant. The guy who was there today clearly didn’t care that a huge line had formed — first we wait forever to place an order, then we wait an eternity to actually get it.
Still giving 5 stars for the idea and execution! But a piece of advice to the owner — it would be great to make some changes in how the staff treats customers.

Got a lunch bowl and my friend got a breakfast bowl, both had a good size and were very yummy. It’s next to a few other food/drink carts and it is a nice area to sit and hang. Staff is friendly and helpful.
I went every morning on vacation! The avocado toast had me in a chokehold! Everything we had was so delicious.

Delicious breakfast bagel sandwich, hot and fresh! The area is quaint, beautiful plants and flowers decorate the area with lots of seating and umbrellas. This was my first time and will certainly be back when visiting Fort Walton.

I stayed in a line for 20min and the staff got order of only 2 people during this time. There are 3 workers and anyway the line is about 30-40 min of wait and then another 30 min to wait for your order. Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else where employees cares about their customers and everybody’s time!

Actually just stood in the front of the line for 20 minutes after being told “I need to hand this food out” and left.
Overpriced food. I waited in line close to 30 minutes and then about 40 for my food while people behind me got theirs before me. I wish I could say the food was great at least but it wasn’t.

My friends, wife and I visited rive cafe on April 17,2025. We came to rive cafe ordered a few different meals. I will have to say the atmosphere was great loved it but the food 2/10. I myself got the Cuban sandwich. The lady didn’t know what mojito sauce was which usually comes with a sandwich like this when you don’t know what it comes with that’s a bad sign. The bread was burnt and very crunchy which took away from the pulled pork. The sandwich was very dry and bland with not much flavor. My wife ordered the lunch bowl and she hated it. So I took a bite and it tasted like I put a whole spoonful of pepper in my mouth. Both of our friends tried it and they felt the same way it had so much pepper it overwhelmed the entirety of the bowl and was inedible. My female tried had the breakfast bagel which she liked and didn’t have any complaints and said 9/10. My male friend breakfast burrito he said it was very good. The sauce complimented the meal. 7.8/10 because it was very small portion size for the money they are asking. Overall the place seems very boujee for over priced food truck food with small portions. Probably wouldn’t be back but it was worth it to suppose local businesses.

I recently visited Rive Cafe, and my experience was far from pleasant. The customer service was incredibly disappointing. The staff was unhelpful and left me standing in the sun for 30-45 minutes waiting on the last two items of our six person order to tell me that I didn’t order the last two items so since I didn’t pay for them that I would not get them. I had no idea as I opted not to get a receipt. I read the order from my phone twice to the clerk. She Knowles when I got the order I mentioned missing the last two things. She knew I was waiting all along, but claimed there was nothing to tell me since it was not in my order. Instead of letting me know so I could have reordered them and pay for them, they decided to just ignore me. She also inferred I was lying about reading the order to the new clerk who struggled with I putting the order. We always visit here for the Açaí bowls and coffee, but I’ll never go back knowing the same owner for all three places after this experience I had with them. He was rude at first then nice about the whole thing. I listened to his rant about the girls there all on Prozac or Xanax and no customer service skills. These are private things that shouldn’t be shared out. Things he should not share with others. I would not recommend Rive Cafe to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.
