The two five star reviews must have been by friends and family. The Pad Woon Sen was too salty. I like salty foods but this was even a bit much for me. The Gyoza were over cooked and hard. The best dish we ate was the Larb, but it was on the mediocre side. The waitress was efficient, but not friendly at all. As we left we told the gentleman (possibly the owner) thank you and to have a nice day, and he pointedly ignored us. With all the Thai restaurants in Fort Walton I'm really surprised that we were treated so unfriendly.

My wife and I have been to Sapphire Asian dozens of times. In a town filled with Thai restaurants this is the one we return to over and over again. I am finally writing a review because the last time we went was the best meal we have had there. We get Fresh Rolls every place we see them. These really are made when you order them and are the best we have had anywhere. Normally they come with shrimp but they will make them with smoked sliced pork roast if you prefer. Served with peanut sauce which my wife loves. I prefer to add a dash of soy sauce and a bit of sriracha. Perfect. Three to an order. We share them but they can also make a light lunch option on their own. My wife almost always orders the traditional Pad Thai at Thai restaurants. Sapphire Asian is her favorite Pad Thai in town and believe me she has tried them all. She orders the combination Pad Thai which has chicken, shrimp and beef with extra cilantro on the side and zero spice level. Pad Thai is such an subjective dish. No two Thai restaurants in this area (and there are many) make it the same way. Sapphires rendition has always been good, and yet this last time it was the best ever. Kudos to them for working to improve on an already delicious choice. Forgot to take a picture of her dinner but there are several on Yelp. Unlike my wife I move around on the menu. I love their Thai soups like Tom Kha and Tom Yum. The Noodle Soup is also great and better than the description on the menu. My current fave is the Ba Mee Mhoo Dang. It's listed under House Specials for good reason. Hearty soupy goodness (can also be ordered dry) full of egg noodles, house made smoked pork roast slices and one of my favorite veggies bok choy. Picture below. I usually order a spice level two. There is a spice level chart on the menu. My feeling is better to under spice, then add spice (heat) at the table if necessary. Servings are generally large. My wife can never finish the Pad Thai and can usually make two more lunches from the leftovers. I can usually just barely finish my food or might take a bit home. The restaurant also has a small bar area maybe 10 seats, beer and wine only so far, and three TVs that play music videos or news most of the time. Lastly let me say we have gotten to know the owners Benny and Phil. Benny is the cook and Phil works the bar and register. We have noticed something recently at Sapphire Asian. Lots of Thai people eat there. In a town with many Thai choices, that says a lot.

Best Thai food around by far!!! We eat there all the time. There WONTON SOUP will change your life forever. My wife's go to is the Beef Salad and it never disappoints.

Great service, even better food. Thier red curry was perfect. The spring rolls were yummy and crispy.

Absolute best Thai food in FWB. I do not recommend ordering it to go. It is just not as good. I’ve tried the coconut soup, beef and broccoli, Thai beef salad, pad Thai, and larb. All of it was delicious. Fresh ingredients and perfect portion sizes. I will say that their medium is actually very hot. You are better off adding the spice yourself. I’ve eaten at several Thai restaurants in town always order medium with no issue. Their medium will burn your tongue off. Trust me.

Stopped by on a lunch date and I was pleasantly surprised at how well my food turned out. It was pretty empty which was shocking because I heard from multiple people around town that this was the spot to go to for Thai food. I loved the flavor to the noodles. I prefer spice to my dishes and this had the right amount for me.

I've enjoyed their food before so when some family and I recently went for my birthday dinner I knew it would be good. Thank you to the staff for not only the great food but also being so sweet and welcoming!

Quirky decor, but clean. It took a little while for all of our orders to get to the table. I got the drunken noodles with chicken. It was tasty, I really enjoyed the pop of flavor from the basil.

Ordered a chicken satay, a beef larb and thai tea through door dash. The chicken was too tough i could not chew it.The beef on larb was tough as well. Looks like its over over cooked.Even the thai tea taste bad.Waste of money ordering from this place.I just ended up throwing the food away since i cant eat it at all. Cant chew the meat it seems very old and taste old. Very disappointed!!I’ve tried the food from thai spice, orchid house, taste of thai, thai hut garden and all other thai restaurant in the area but this one is the only disappointment.1 star is too good for this place. ????????

Went for lunch with a group from work. Items from my order were mixed up with another order. Server was completely rude, argumentative, and insulting. The food was medicore at best.

Saw Sapphire had great reviews on Google, so decided to try it out. Unfortunately, the 4 and 5 star reviews could not be further from the truth. The one good part of my visit was the service. The waitress was extremely polite and attentive. However, the food was subpar. Half of the crab rangoon was cold in the middle, the sweet and sour dinner tasted strongly of ketchup and the pineapple in it had clearly gone bad. The pad thai was decent. On top of all this, the atmosphere was atrocious. One of the employees was drunkenly laughing while drinking with guests. There was country music blaring far too loudly for comfortable conversation (and if I had to hear one more Trace Atkins song, I was going to leave). The cherry on top was the extreme far right news channels in every corner of the room. Not a great dining experience, and unfortunately there won't be another one.
