It's like one of those little dive restaurants you find randomly that have the best food ever except it's really nice inside and they have a whole fish market next door too. Indoor and outdoor seating. Had the grilled Amber Jack and also tried some of the fried Amber Jack. All the food was fresh and delicious.

Okay. *cracks knuckles* Oh sweet Stewby’s. Y’all. We went for lunch and there was a line when we walked in, but it was soooo worth a short 20-min wait from walking in to getting our food. The gentleman who took our order was a southern sweetheart, and the food was just the best. My husband and I are super into casual atmospheres and good cookin’ and this place FITS. THE. BILL. Just stop reading my review and go. Savor every bite.If you want to keep reading this as you make your way over, first off, know that the sweet teas are huge and perfectly brewed, and we got free refills as we walked out. Practically a gallon of tea between the four cups total we got to enjoy. I heartily devoured the fried shrimp dinner with baked beans and coleslaw (I’m particular about my slaw and this was great slaw) The shrimp is tender and cooked to perfection. The batter on the shrimp is simply the best—not too much, not too little, stays on the shrimp, and super tasty. The baked beans were sweet, unique, and truly delightful. My husband ordered the fried fish of the day (Mahi Mahi) with collard greens (to die for) and cheese grits (very yummy). Don’t get me started on the hushpuppies, which were so flavorful and not your standard dry hushpuppies but instead succulent and divine.We basically skipped out of the restaurant. It not only filled our tummies but also our souls. We usually only say grace and thank the Lord before every meal but we thanked the Lord before, during, AND after this one.PS: Stewby’s, we are willing to be unpaid actors for your commercials. Just give us a meal and we will scream your name from the rooftops. God bless y’all for creating such a fabulous restaurant to brighten the lives of the working class.

Must stop if you are in the area. All of the food was very good. Try the gumbo and the blackened mahi. Both were great. Only suggestion would be to get here early. It gets very busy. We tried to go around 6 one day and the line was way out the door. The day we got to eat here it was around 4.
Stewby's is Absolutely amazing!Every time my wife and I come to Florida, we drive down to Stewby's, even if it's an hour from where we are staying.I always get the fish of the day or Amberjack on a sandwich. The fried fish is delicious. And it's not a heavy batter, it's not dripping in grease. It's lightly breaded, beautifully crispy and delicious. The portion of fish on the sandwich are generous. And the fries are incredibly crispy and low on grease.Even if you have trouble with fried food you may be able to actually eat the fried food without issue because it's such a light batter.It's reasonably priced for fresh seafood: my wife and I get full meals and drinks and it's around $30-$35.The staff is always incredibly nice.They have a nice shop nextdoor where you can get Stewby's seasoning, which I use at home to try to replicate the fish sandwich (that's still a work in process).We've been there at least a half dozen times and it's amazing every time. I'm already looking forward to going again!

Absolutely love this place! And it's atmosphere food is delicious and service was fantastic!! Give the girl at the counter a raise ? $. We will be back. You have 2 ways of eating food at this establishment they have 2 buildings one is a fried food and grilled items. And other is steamed seafood this little place is a must if your in the area and love local seafood and flavor. Come on down to Stewbys.
