I had an incredible experience here. Maria was so kind and informative. I ordered a barbacoa taco and a beef Gordita. Both were delicious. The barbacoa transported me somewhere… I got another to go. The Gordita, it comes with potato. Perhaps if you aren’t used to this it takes a few bites to adjust, but I say take this as the unique and lovely food it is! I have already invited some friends to come with me again. Do give it a try! It tastes real, it tastes like home and love.

El Torreonense has great customer service with an extremely friendly atmosphere! Maria made the experience enjoyable with her recommendations on the menu and the food was great. I’ll definitely be coming back.

My husband and I were on vacation visiting from Texas and the food there was AMAZING! The service was even better. We ordered the menudo and Picadillo tacos and gorditas which were so delicious. She shared with us that it is a family operated restaurant and her elderly 80+ year old grandfather is still there helping operate the restaurant. Thank you for sharing not only your wonder food with us but your stories. Also, Texas welcomes you whenever you come here in hopes of expanding...
