Waffle House

I went to this location last night and my food came out to $16 and some change but I was charged $20 on my debit card so they took it upon themselves to take a tip off of my card without my permission or me signing for it when I try to call the location. It was just a voicemail saying they don’t take orders to go over the phone. I cannot reach anybody or talk to anybody about this if I don’t hear from any one soon I will be up there to complain and write another bad review. This is horrible and I would hate for this to happen to someone else.

Lacy was my waitress the rudest ever, told me to stop complaining over burnt food because I was the only one in this place and then the next waitress walked in with a mask with COVID and told me to get over it. The worst Waffle House EVER!

A truly authentic, back-to-basics delicious spot.
I’d been disappointed by other locations lately, so I’d been preferring other franchises over Waffle House.
But this place is genuinely delicious, and the service is incredibly friendly.
This is the *real* Waffle House—I had to leave a review.

My wife and I went on Oct 19/2025 at 5 am when we went in there were 2 women sitting at the bar and a man sitting in the back 3 total, all the tables were dirty except one but there was trash under it so we sat down and I kicked the trash out from under it, a waitress came over and apologized and swept and said they had a busy night, it took about ten minutes for GG to come take our order the two cooks and GG were talking to the women sitting at the bar looking at their phones laughing and giggling, when we got our food the bacon was about 1/2 wide with the edges burnt black all of the food was cold, we ate it anyway because we wanted to get on the road home and didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes, someone needs to talk with them about doing their job, we won’t be back at this location unless I get a response, I have never been to a Waffle House like this one and I like the other Waffle Houses I’ve been to

Got my main part of my meal and asked for my waffle later. Ask about 8 min of finishing my food, our waiter came back and I asked for my waffle later. He said it would be 2 minutes. 10 min later I just asked for the waffle to be removed and they took a whole $.75 off my meal. This was one of the worst experiences at Waffle House ever. I would never visit this location again

For amazing customer service and amazing food not just in taste but presentation the ones you want to see and or request Elshabazz, and Kathey are the epitome of what you want in customer service in the food industry. Elshabazz by far the best cook at the highway 98 location in Fort Walton Beach he has a great personality and can make quick changes on the Fly while keeping a positive attitude. Kathey is very attentive and kind an exact with everything she does she also provides top tier customer service just like Elshabazz a great personality and attitude.

All around amazing severs were amazing David the cook amazing food I will for sure be back working the graveyard shift not a a lot of options but this will be my number one from now on I totally recommend eating here the best Waffle House down town has to offer 10/10

This Waffle House was great. The service was fantastic. The food was great and cooked exactly as we ordered. Our waitress was really good and attentive. Just an overall great location. I highly recommend.
