When ever we come to Freeport to visit our daughter we always go to Nick’s for dinner… I went there tonight and the fried shrimp dinner was good butttt there were so many flies I couldn’t hardly enjoy it!! A customer sitting in the table next to me asked for a flyswater which the server brought him and he killer a few but at one point I saw 11 flies in the window next to me… makes you wonder how many are in the kitchen!!!

Nick's Seafood Restaurant is a humble eatery with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, offering an old fish camp feel with a small home town vibe. The service is attentive and super, with staff working together to ensure a pleasant and peaceful dining experience. The restaurant offers a range of simple yet tasty dishes, including fried squash, baked beans, mullet, gator tail, and shrimp tacos. The food is always hot, freshly prepared, and outstanding, with standout dishes like calamari, steamed shrimp, fried okra, and fried oysters. With a lovely and excellent view of the water and a cozy atmosphere, it is a great spot to enjoy an excellent meal and is well worth the drive.
