The pancakes here are outstanding. The portions are great. This breakfast was amazing. We had a great experience this morning. Everyone had big plates, barely could finish all our meals. The food was so good. Definitely worth the drive down to this place from wherever you are coming from.

I love how they season their home fries just enough to let me adjust to my taste, very thoughtful !Can’t wait to try more, will order breakfast again! Popped in on my way back home from Sarasota to the east coast. I was doing a nostalgia trip and needed food. This place is the bomb! Hearty portions of home cooked food. I got breakfast then grabbed smothered pork chops to go and I had two meals from that. Love the klitchy diner atmosphere and home town feel to the place. This restaurant needs to be transported to Merritt island!! I can’t say enough great things!

We sat out back with a group of friends . Food was good ( could not complain) . It gave me a new meaning to greasy spoon eatery . Counter top had time cards on it , grease on the fridge . Smoke covered the lights that worked , a brownish tint was noticeable on walls and blinds . Ceiling has black coming out of the vent, but the food was good

Just a small town restaurant in Frostproof Florida where the service is great and the coffee is good and hot. You can’t go wrong with the sausage gravy over homemade biscuits (they are to die for). The Johnny’s Breakfast platter is also very filling and very good. If you’re looking for breakfast in Frostproof, FL you have to hit Johnny’s egg House.

All the deets: I found this hole in the wall joint one day when I was very hungry and nothing else nearby was open or looked appealing. Parking can be a bit hard to find when they’re busy, but man it’s worth it. From the time you walk in, it’s got that old time country feel. Waitresses hollar for you to find a table, then bring you a menu, ask what’ll it be and serve you large portions of good southern cooking. They also remember you if you’ve been in more than once. My waitress, Amanda, remembered me when I came back over 2 weeks later after my first visit. She recalled how I like my coffee and what I like to eat. It’s a local favorite in Frostproof, so if you’re ever in the area, definitely give them a visit and make sure you go hungry.

Service was good but the seat really need to be replaced i was drinking coffee and the lady behind me sat in so hard tha I spill my coffee cuz the back board of all those seat in there are really bad wen she sat down on her side and lean back push my seat hard enough tha push me n I pill the coffee not happy at all plz fix them or I will not return back all the seat are like tha not plesable at all ....thank you
