Just ate at the 16th Avenue Diner, which is now one of our favorite restaurants in Gainesville. Everything was perfect! The food was amazing and service was great!

Great little place. Decent food at a good price. It’s a fun little environment somewhat reminiscent of a small place you would stumble upon in New York. It’s in a sort of neglected part of town and you wouldn’t expect to get such a good bite here. They accept Apple Pay.

Do yourself a favor and try this place! Comfort food very well executed and nice, attentive service! Small and cozy, big portions. My new favorite breakfast place in Gainesville! Luis & Derek took care of us and deserves all the stars for great service!

A real diner! Family run local hole in the wall mom and pop, cooked how you like it on the griddle right in front of you. The food is good and fresh, and their welcoming friendliness makes everything taste even better!

Some people have comfort foods - this is my comfort restaurant They really care about you and sincerely want you to enjoy your meal, and that is so welcome amid impersonal chain restaurants

Vegetarian options: French toast, omelets, pancakes, breakfast burrito, quesadilla..
Honestly options are limited, but they will do everything they can to accomodate.

Dietary restrictions: They are great about adapting dishes to what you want. Everything is cooked with the same grill and deep fryers though

Parking: Parking right outside the front door

Kid-friendliness: Family run and very friendly, families are very welcome

Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps and parking is right in front of the door, although the bathroom is old and too small

It's your classic little diner atmosphere. It has about 5 tables and a counter to sit at. My breakfast was perfect! I asked for crispy hashbrowns and they were exactly how I like them. Bacon was the perfect crispiness, eggs fluffy. The biscuit was heaven. I ordered a side of grits and it was a huge bowl and piping hot. The best breakfast I have had in a long time! Luis was our server, he was attentive to our needs and had a great smile. There was a man, not sure if he was the manager or owner but he was checking on everyone and very kind. The prices are more than fair. I have reservations about sharing my favorite places because I don't want it to get to busy but these guy's deserve the recognition. I will definitely be going back!

We pulled up and were a bit scared already. DONT FEAR it was amazing! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff. We sat down at the counter and promptly got service. They kept checking on us until we were ready to order too! The food came out all separate but at a diner that doesn't matter to me cause at least it's hot! The food was beyond good and felt very homemade and fresh. The service was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place! Only got 4/5 for the atmosphere cause the bathrooms are a bit different!

Old school diner feel, with its own character. Food was delicious, fresh veggies for veggie omelet. Quick service, friendly staff, clean place. We’d go back! Looks like they are really trying hard to grow it and take care of the place. Hot mex omlet was great, home fries were perfectly done, good coffee!
