Cannot recommend enough! The chorizo omelette is over the top good!!!! Food is served piping hot, coffee great and the service is excellent. We have to visit Gainesville regularly for doctors appointments and the 26th Ave Diner is a must.
New to the area and this felt like home. The food was hot, quick and good. Can’t ask for much more. The guys Derrick, Tristan and Mack were courteous, attentive and personable. This place is now my go-to for breakfast and lunch.
I really want to like this place as it is a family restaurant. Staff is super friendly. Sadly though, they don’t deliver on breakfast. I ordered a western scramble…I was given an overcooked western omelette that the cook forgot to make it a scramble so he just chopped it up. So dry!!!!
I will say the biscuit was good.
Anyways, walked out with a $40 tab (including tip) for two people ( 2 egg dishes, 1 ice tea and a water) and both the omelette and my “scramble”,...
