Just so everyone is aware they are still currently closed, even while other restaurants are starting to open. I just stopped by to check.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, good Acai bowl, but a little expensive. Worth the visit!

Came in after a run on a Saturday morning and it was, to say the least, refreshing. I had the High Tide and my husband had the Shore Thing and they definitely hit the spot! The folks working behind the counter and in the kitchen were really nice. I love the way it is decorated and the smoothie was fresh. Will definitely be back!!

I came here a few times in the spring 2019 semester. The açai back then was just mediocre and it was a little bit hard to eat because of how thick it was. I just returned in the spring 2020 semester and I am very impressed with the new recipes they are using and the new management. I will go back in the future. The açai is easy to eat and very flavorful. Also the environment is a 10 out of 10.

The manager of 29 82 is now the owner of refresh. The place is better than ever! Got two açaí bowls and was super impressed with them. Super happy they are open again.

I'm giving this place four stars because of cleanliness, the very friendly staff, and the best almond butter cookies in town. Seriously, those almond cookies will make you slap yo mama!! I came because of the deal on hooked that was a cold brew and a mini bowl for $6. The cold brew was excellent, I opted to have a little space for cream and only added a teaspoon of cane sugar and it was perfect since I don't like sweet. Now the mini bowl was a different story. I ordered the tropical storm, which is granola, banana, mango and pineapple. I opted for the hemp granola instead of the vanilla almond which was $0.50 extra, and it wasn't impressive. What I did not like about the bowl was that the pineapples were canned and the acai was so sweet and tasted so processed that I could not eat it. This place is located on University so it is catering to a college crowd. I'm not sure how many college students are going to spend $8 for avocado toast though. Not me and I'm not even in college! Most of the other items seemed reasonably priced. I'll give it another go if not just for the almond cookies and cold brew, but maybe I'll try another food item instead of the bowl.

This place is amazing! I ordered the tacos - without the soft tortilla because I prefer gluten-free - and the young man working there prepared an incredible taco salad with tropical salsa, guacamole, non-gmo chicken, rice and beans on a bed of fresh lettuce. The ingredients are FRESH. There are other places in town that offer "fresh" ingredients in a custom made-to-order bowl, but those ingredients taste like they've been sitting out all day. Here, the lettuce is sweet and crisp. The tropical salsa tastes like someone chopped up the mango, pineapple, cilantro, etc. and mixed it all together just before it was served. The portion was generous - it was a $10 salad that I ate for lunch and dinner (and I'm 7 months pregnant right now). They automatically put the dressing on the side. I also ordered a Flamingo smoothie and my eight-year-old son sucked the whole thing down. Very wholesome ingredients. The decor is fantastic - they have enormous bean bag chairs that line the walls - PERFECT for my pregnant aching back right now. And the serving staff was courteous and thoughtful - much better than many of the other eating establishments in the area. I highly recommend this place as a go-to spot for people that want to have a casual, healthy, delicious meal in comfort. It also seems like a pretty kid-friendly spot. I'll be coming back soon!

this is the first smoothie bowl I try in Gainesville and it was really good! I got the combo which brings a small smoothie bowl and an avocado toast for like $10. The avocado toast had pico de gallo on top which was amazingg! definitely coming back :)

I stopped by during a slow hour and ordered the low tide smoothie. It tasted great, though I waited 20 minutes for it to come out. Apparently the order got mixed up, but the manager was very apologetic and gave me a refund. Overall service was good.

I thought the food here was expensive and subpar. The smoothie I ordered was $7 and had large chunks of ice in it--it was perhaps the crunchiest smoothie I've had! I thought the avocado toast was good, but also something I could make at home for a fraction of the price. For $15 plus tip, the food was not worth the price tag.

This place is such a great acai spot and so affordable compared to others! I had the combo which includes a mini açaí bowl with a side of avocado toast for about 8 bucks. The mini bowl was served with a pretty generous portion of fruit (usually places are stingy with their toppings/portions but not 29 82)! It was so flavorful and so fresh. The avocado toast was also pretty good. My boyfriend had the high tide smoothie which was also delicious and I definitely recommend. I'm coming back here in the next week

I personally found my juice to be fresh and tasty. There were items on the menu I felt good ordering. Space is not overly crowded. There is parking available out front.

this was my first time trying an açai bowl and it was absolutely delicious!!! i would definitely recommend it, the fruits are fresh and the granola is really good i also got almond butter on top which made it even better. you can do a make your own bowl but they also have combinations on the menu. the avacado toast was very good as well, the seasoning was perfect and the tomatoes on top were really good. overall excellent!!!

Acai bowl was not good, fruit doesn't look fresh and granola tastes like plain oats. I did have bagel with hummus too and that was delicious. Hummus must be made in house or maybe its just really good.
