Alpine Bistro is our favorite restaurant in Gainesville. The food is always delicious. We recommend especially the French onion soup. We like to arrive at six for dinner in order to beat the crowd. Given the restaurant's downtown location, the parking is tight, but the trip is well worth the effort!
Absolutely excellent space with a great atmosphere and even better food. I'm always blown away by the quality of the food, drinks, and service. It's clear that there's care and pride put into the planning and crafting in every aspect of this dining space. I would highly recommend checking out their pasta nights - I've yet to be disappointed.

My family came in right at opening and was promptly greeted and seated right away. Waitress was kind and explained the specials for the evening. Food took a reasonable time to come out and everything we had from the Tapas to the main entry was fresh and delicious....
