My experience at Applebee’s on 13th St. was horrible waitress was slamming plates down on our table had an attitude. After ordering my appetizer she brought out the Wings.. She got an even bigger attitude because I spoke up and told her that was not the type of wings I ordered.. she told me I was lying Hot buffalo was the type of wings that I asked for and called me ungrateful as she was walking off.. I asked to speak to a manager THE MANAGER NEVER CAME OUT AND TALKED TO ME I asked for a new waitress the new waitress came to bring me my food but never seen her after that so I was just stuck with appetizer and no meal… I had to leave my table just to get my ticket to cash out.. this place is just horrible…

I recently visited this location with a friend and the only reason I gave the service a 2 star was because the waitress Candance at least tried to make a bad situation good. Yes we did order a 2 for meal, but when half of that 2 for made one of us sick you would think the manager would be more sympathetic than thinking only about how the situation would make her look. The problem with the meal was my friend's burger was raw and it made her sick. When I say Candance tried to make the situation right she thought by offering another meal to replace the raw burger not knowing the extent to how sick she was. Her thinking was she could eat it later, however my friend was feeling too sick to want anymore for period. We asked for the manager she basically came over her mind already made up that she was going to do as little as possible to make the situation right. She accused me of getting loud when my voice was never raised, because she said people were looking at her at the table. We told her my friend absolutely couldn't do raw meat, she promised her she wouldn't get sick saying she was a diabetic and had digestive issues so she was sure she wouldn't get sick. At this point I did tell her I would be giving them a bad review and then she tells us she would try to manipulate the system to let her take $8 off the ticket. And by the way this happened on Saturday and my friend was sick for 3 days after that, she was finally able to keep food down on Tuesday. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANYONE AND WILL NOT GO BACK BECAUSE THEY ARE MORE CONCERNED ABOUT THE DOLLAR THAN THE CUSTOMER. THEY DON'T CARE THAT THEIR FAILURE TO PROPERLY PREPARE FOOD COULD CAUSE MAJOR DAMAGE TO SOMEONE. I CAN'T BE SURE BUT I BELIEVE THE MANAGER ON DUTY SATURDAY NIGHT WAS (CHRISTINA).

Visited on Valentine’s Day and, unfortunately, the experience was bad. Aside from the mozzarella sticks, the food was subpar—the ribs were overly fatty and lacked flavor, while the fries tasted freezer-burnt. The drinks were also underwhelming. The staff were friendly enough though.

If you go in the afternoon and Marcelo serves you, you will have excellent service, he remembers your order, you don't have to call him to ask for things, the cooks do an excellent job too, the food comes out quickly and exactly as you order, I recommend it 100%

Laughing Goats Farm Fainting Goats
We have eaten at the Gainesville location twice in the last two weeks, being in town for work. Whoever does the training, or does the hiring, or both does an amazing! All the staff from the hostess to the servers are amazing. Super helpful, high energy. Never let our drinks run out, and super attentive. We asked to sit outside and were quickly accommodated. The food was fast and hot and excellent. Wish our Applebee’s in Tallahassee was so good.
It was so very HOT inside the restaurant!!!! The heat was on and it was TOO HOT!!! It made the experience miserable as we were all sweating while eating our meals.
Got the new big chicken sandwich grilled it was a bit small from the one I got fried. My other person got the bacon burger it was huge and delicious. Over all it was great food and service.

Food was good. Took an hour to get it, definitely not during lunch rush. Server was good and tried to make everything right but the kitchen dropped the ball. I'll try again in several months. Establishment is definitely showing signs of age, bathrooms and ceiling tiles disgusting.
