Went for pinball. Lots of UF students celebrating. 3 floors, the third available for groups.The door to the Arcade on the West side is actually the original First National( name may have changed over time)which located on the opposite side of Main and is now,I think,the Morgan and Morgan building and Wells Fargo.I just wanted to play pinball,at Arcade. Great atmosphere for it.

I’m a regular at this bar, and I always tip the bartender generously. He knows me well. Tonight, two other bartenders were working. I ordered a double-shot whiskey sour, but halfway through, I noticed that the sweetness had completely disappeared, replaced by a strong bitterness. I thought they had run out of their premixed lemon juice, so I kindly pointed it out to them. I said I’d like a new drink and mentioned that they might have run out of lemon juice (because a friend of mine had encountered a similar issue before).
One of the bartenders on duty said, “A new drink is $8.” Before I could respond, he went ahead and made a new one but slammed it down in front of me. I said, “You should taste it—this is really bitter.” He replied, “You know what I’ll do if you don’t pay the $8?” … Then, right in front of me, he angrily dumped the freshly made drink into the trash!
I was stunned. I said I wanted to speak to the manager, but he claimed the manager was at another bar and couldn’t come over. I stepped outside, and after a while, the only manager on duty—a heavier-set guy—came out and said he could make me a new drink. However, it was freezing outside, and I waited for quite a while. After about six or seven minutes, I went back inside, only for the manager to tell me I couldn’t stay in the bar anymore.
He placed my drink on an outdoor table and escorted me out. Then he told the staff at the door not to let me back in. I said I needed to go back and grab my belongings, but the doorman refused to let me in.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend anyone come to this bar. The bartenders are rude, and even the manager is blatantly racist. Out-of-town guests should be especially cautious—they really discriminate here.

Barcade is always so much fun and attracts a great crowd! Drink prices are great, the games are fun, and the bartenders are so welcoming and friendly. Dustin and Jimmy especially deserve recognition for all they do :)

Some of the nicest and most accommodating bartenders ever. They made the nicest night for us playing random requests on aux and being so encouraging and fun the whole night no matter what stupid songs we requested. They made even a Monday night so much fun!! Highly recommend. Amazing prices to top it all off. Especially want to give a shout out to Dustin and Jimi for the amazing experience! Would give a 11/5 if we could!

It’s ok. Bar is packed and games cost more than they say. The alley is the place to be for a breeze. DJ is awful though, only plays disco and doesn’t take any requests.

This place is awesome!!! Nostalgic for sure. So many awesome games to play and great drinks. Grab coins and a drink at the bar and go to town. Multiple floors and 2 buildings full of great games. Music and DJs all the time too. Its awesome fun here.

Terrible experience. A few of my european friends was denied at the door because they didn't have passports, but ID cards valid in the US. Please educate your doorman :(
