We were super disappointed by our visit. My gf and myself wanted to try and find a new favorite restaurant in town so we decided to stop in here for dinner before a movie.

The place looks cool but my first clue it was going to be bad was when we sat down at a higtop and I leaned on our table and it almost flipped on me. The table top was not secured and about to fall off. So I got up and switched it with the table beside us as waiters and waitresses walked by me not once asking if I needed help or why I was moving the table.

We ordered our food and after that our waiter Mario was practically nonexistent. Probably one of the worst waiters we have had lately. While we sat there waiting for our food and a refill on my drink we could see all of the wait staff standing off to the side talking.

My gf ordered a soup, an appetizer and I ordered a medium burger. They finally brought it all at the same time and it wasn't even our waiter that brought it. He was still standing there talking. The soup was barely warm, and my burger was the most well done burger I think I've ever had. The appetizer was really good though. So that was ok.

Mario never asked how was everything was or really checked on us. After our food came he walked over and finally asked if I needed another water. Then finally brought the check.

There are way better restaurants within walking distance to this place that I would go to before going back here. The prices would be OK if the food and service weren't crap. Aside from the bright colors and cool interior there's literally nothing special about this place.

This was a nice place to visit on a late Monday night. We passed by like at 10pm because it was one of the few places in the area opened until 11. The restaurant was pretty much empty, so it was chill and no wait to sit. Just waited some for the food to come out, but it was worth it.

My wife and I Ordered the Chicken Tostones starter and the Grilled Chicken with Cilantro-Crema to share for a quick "light" late dinner and added the margarita sampler to try it out.

The trend with all these restaurants is the smaller portions, so we can see how inflation has affected the servings. The quality was great, I was impressed because the entree was very tasty. Our concern was the Tostones... as you can see in the photo we took and compare it to the one from their online menu its a bit different. I told my wife, i guess they had extra tomatoes, so they loaded them up on top to hide the fact that there was barely any chicken and only like two, three peppers underneath. lol

Overall, the food tasted great, the service was fine. Right after we paid it was 11pm, so all the lights came on and it was time to leave. We will probably be back next time we are in the Gainesville area and want to have to BB.

Somewhat limited options foodwise, but what they do have they do well. Reasonably quiet atmosphere which I appreciate. Only small irritation is they always insist on seating all parties next to each other. When the place is half empty put at least a booth between parties.

We had a great experience celebrating Michael’s birthday at Bahama Breeze. The ambiance is colorful and lively. We had a great experience with our waitress Andreina. She also goes to Santa Fe College and is working while studying biomedical science. The food was beautifully presented and tasty.

The atmosphere was promising. I was really excited to try the jerk chicken and the cocnut shrimp tacos

My fiance and i walked in and sat for 20 minutes woth no one addressing us. Staff stared at us confused. I dont know if we were set in a block section or what but on one greeted us. The place wasnt e even busy we were one if four tables and onky 5 people at the bar. There was plenty of staff memebers on their phones or walking around aimlessly
Hoestesses when we got up and left were at the front on their phones

Ive been in the restaurant business, as a histess if your wait staff are busy address the table if not that clock the table to make sure they get served or make sure after 5-10 minute window that a server goes over to address them.
The atmosphere was pretty i dont know about anything else
