My gf and I finally stopped in yesterday to try Ballyhoo Grill. She's not much on seafood but her coworkers wanted to go. We didn't know they had happy hour so we instantly ordered 2 rounds of Bloody Mary's. $12 for a Bloody Mary on happy hour is not much of a deal if you ask me, but we didn't find that out until we received the check. First bloody came out very thin looking and was very watered down, second came out a little darker but still very watered down. The other cocktails we ordered were very much on the weak side as well. Drinks are not their strong point at all. We did get some appetizers and they were decent. In all my years ordering gator, I've never had it served with a BBQ sauce. The gator was good but a spicy ranch or even just cocktail sauce would have been better. I ordered a full rack of ribs and let me tell you, they were great!!! Fall off the bone and very flavorful. Their garlic mashed potatoes tasted perfect as well. My gf ordered a Greek salad and it's a pretty nice portion and presented very well. They decor is cool to check out, the service is great, the food is really good but the drinks need help. We definitely will be back, especially for those ribs!!!

I LOVED my food. The atmosphere is so cute and the table where I was sat was quiet. Indoor outdoor seating, they ask your preference. Gumbo is DELIGHTFUL, spicy shrimp appetizer is delicious, everything we had was amazing. First time here, but plan on becoming a regular. Plenty of parking spots Our waitress Brooke was very sweet and fast.

Horrible experience at this establishment tonight. Me and my family walked in at around 5:00pm, the restaurant was not very busy. We were greeted at the door by the hostess and taken to our seat. Me and my family then waiting almost 14mins until we we were approached by a man who asked “has anyone helped you yet” we replied nope not yet. He looked shocked and surprised. He then took our drink order and walked away. We clearly noticed he walked over and told a few waitresses that they had a table who needed to order and we seen an interesting interaction and laughs and then someone walked over to take our order. I wanted the grilled Mahi Mahi and asked the waitress if that fish could be without walnuts and blackened with garlic butter on the side she replied yes and finished taking our order. Sure enough the order comes out and multiple things were not correct with our order. My wife’s salad was incorrect, both kids cheeseburgers were not cooked correctly and my fish was not cooked properly or prepared like I wanted. At that moment I knew it wasn’t going good and I was sort of taken back by the multiple issues that we were having. Not only did it take a very long time To get our drink orders in, but multiple things were wrong with our food order. And even when I spoke up in regards to my food, not being prepared, right, the waitress decides to make it seem like it was a miscommunication when in fact, it wasn’t it was extremely clear in precise. By this point, I didn’t want to wait for them to prepare my meal again, knowing that that would take a very long time and the rest of my family would already be finished eating. So I politely asked to just take that off the bill. All in all our experience was not good not only was the food horrible but it wasn’t prepared correctly and the service along with the wait times were unbelievable, The funny thing is, it was clear to me that this restaurant struggles with upper management problems.
I ordered a ribeye - I requested medium but got medium rare. I was hungry, so I ate it. The knife was ridiculously dull. It was so dull I had to pull out my pocket knife. I was sitting at the bar, and there were 2 bartenders yet I was out of sweet tea through most of my meal. They finally gave me a refill as I finished. Won't be going back.

I have alerted the DOJ to the way Bill treats members of the service. I use to fly but now I am grounded. I asked for water and I was refused service because of my color.cc.c. Americans have rights. I am ashamed of my invisible condition. I spent months in ICUs dealing with seizures and now my only companion is a service animal
