Blackadder Brewing Company

We stopped in for a quick visit and loved this brewery! The custom beer flights were such a fun touch, and every beer we tried was really good and super yummy. Free parking was a huge plus, and the Christmas vendors outside made the stop feel extra festive.

Inside, we were really impressed with the holiday decor — it was cozy and perfectly done. The staff was very nice and welcoming, even though it was clearly busy. Our teenager ordered mozzarella sticks that were almost forgotten, but they were slammed so we totally understood and didn’t hold it against them at all.

Overall, a great quick stop with great vibes, great beer, and friendly service. We’d definitely come back!

Love this local brewery!

One of our very favorites when in Gainesville. In house beers are always plentiful and obviously brewed with pride. If you can't find something of theirs, there are more taps filled with guest beers. Owners are generally on site and very friendly. Highly recommend. We will definitely be back.

Good creme soda

We always love to check out the local breweries when traveling and Blackadder food not disappoint! Beers were tasty and unique. Staff was friendly and even welcomed our kiddos withcupcakes. The atmosphere was very cool full of laughter and people playing games. Definitely would visit again and highly recommend.

Beer was awesome, talked with the owner/brewer and you can tell he really cares about the beer he makes. Great atmosphere and really good beer. I had the Queenie, James Brown, Peppered Porter, the Golden Ale and the Bat Adder Helles. Each were unique in their flavors. Many breweries get stuck on the same flavor profile, you won't find that here. I will definitely be back.

We had a great time on trivia night! All beers that we tried were very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming and warm.

This was a nice place that had about 20 of their own beers on tap, along with others . Im sure theres something for everyone. There was a function going on involving bats which was really cool. They had a wide-screen that had a live feed from a local bat house. I definitely want to go back my next time in town, to try a few more beers and pick up a shirt with the cat on it!

Blackadder is always cool to stop in for a few beers. Many options of their own beers and other options. Plenty of events happening at this brewery. Games to play while chilling and if you're lucky you get a visit by their fluffy kitty. Well worth the visit!

Great beer and widely varying and rotating selection, beers from all over the nation found here. Inside is a great vibe, almost snow cavern in the Nordic feel. They also have great coffee and merchandise.

A very nice place to unwind. And Edmund the cat was wonderful.

Blackadder is my favorite brewery in Gainesville. It has a unique and inviting atmosphere. The beer is all delicious and service is phenomenal! Go check them out and meet the cutest cat in town! Edmund...meow
