Shared a lovely tasting yesterday with Audrey. Groupon was our tour guide for the day and it's a good thing because this place is definitely off the beaten path. We thank the family for participating in this valuable tool for finding fun things to do at a discount. Our favorite is almost always a dry blueberry wine, but their other muscadine varietals are fun and great for the sweet wine lovers out there. This was my first experience with wine tasting, and I hope my future experiences reflect this experience. The host was amazing and friendly. All of the wines tasted great, but the Pomegranate was the winner in my book. I will definitely grab more bottles the next time I visit.
I love to support local places. Not the chain stores. This little winery is off the beaten path. I bought two bottles of wine as you can see in the pictures. Took the raspberry bottle to my neighbors when I got home. Definitely will be back for more. We all enjoyed it, and the flavor is very good. When I return, I'll have to get the blueberry. It's definitely worth a drive...
