I wish I could have given this place a better review but unfortunately my friends and I did not have a good experience at this place. We waited almost 30 mins to get in, watching multiple groups of people get to pass us even though they had just arrive and go in and finally when it came to our group of 4, the bouncer said "I can only let you two in, my girl friend and I... but I responded "I am paying the 4 of us covers." Then finally the bouncer let us in whe. I told him I was paying. It just was unfortunate that we watches multiple groups pass before we were taken care of.

Extremely racist staff equals an extremely racist experience.My friend is here for a summer Languge program and I came to visit her. We were three people and went to the front of the line around 1 am. They tried to charge up 20 dollars each, because they assumed none of us went to college, and then tried to charge us 30 for the 3 of us.They then closes 5 minutes later and I went to confront the white bouncer about why he didn’t tell us about that and he tried to fight me.I will never have proof about why I know he is racist but he made sure to let everyone else but us know that it wasn’t worth it, because I stayed near to listen to what he told them.

Basically false advertised EDM artists showing up and charged cover for Taylor Swift on the Spotify rotation. Something was dripping on me all night from the roof stg. People here will beef for no reason. The drinks are cheap and you can smoke cigs inside, which is the main attraction.

Ewww. I wish I could put zero stars. $10 cover for a bar with no entertainment. As soon as we stepped in we regretted going. They patted my friends boyfriend down but nobody else, that should've been our first red flag. The floors were so sticky you could hardly move. I literally washed my shoes when I got home lol it smelled disgusting, I would've rather went to the bathroom outside than go in theirs. From what I saw there was no A/C so that definitely did not help the smell. They had rap music playing in the front and country in the back, which made zero sense. The topper was that you weren't allowed to exit through the front door you came in.. we were all so confused. You had to leave out the dingy back door. 10/10 will never be back.

Y’all fun. Bit of a young crowd but a lot of 18+ places are. However, I will never forget a bouncer pushing me to the ground when I tried to get my debit card that I left there the previous night. Hope he doesn’t work there anymore. This was 4 years ago.

Unprofessional and disrespectful staff. My girl and I were repeatedly disrespected by staff just waiting to get into this dump. Bouncers literally let like thirty people cut us in line for no reason, making us wait needlessly, and then gave me a hard time when I refused to be separated from my girl while her cover got sorted. Trashy place, go literally anywhere else downtown to have fun.

Club charges $18 a shot . It’s to small. They don’t even have a trash can in the girls bathroom !! So girls are just throwing there tampons and napkins on the floor it’s sick.
I just want to say Thank you to the owner of Bricks Lawrence he found my sons phone and made sure it was returned to us. He charged the phone and kept it with him for three days waiting on someone to call. I literally was about to call the insurance company to replace it (which would have cast me $250) and decided to call the phone myself. He not only found it and made sure it was charged and for someone to call but he brought the phone to me at my Salon here in Gainesville! Also thank you for letting me know you will look out for my son while he is hanging out with his friends and having fun interacting with other young adults at Bricks. Thank you Lawrence!!!

Music was nice, bartenders was trash. Tried to order drinks and I guess they don't serve Black people, because the white bartenders ignored us. But as soon as some white girls strolled up the bartenders were fast to work. If you're Black I'd strongly advise you to save your money.
