I'm just curious why plaintains are automatically included when purchasing a full meal.

First time customer. I wanted to try something different and I am so happy Caribbean Spice was the option I went with. The food was amazingggg!! I ordered the Oxtail with rice and beans. The service was great and even the owner was there to greet us. Atmosphere was amazing and even the customers were nice and talking with each other (must be so happy knowing they’re getting great food). 5/5 stars and I will be back next time I am in Gainesville.

Food is AMAZING The Real ‘Ting not owned by 🇯🇲 and run by a Yankee🇺🇸 it Jamaican Owned and the Cook is an Authentic Jamaican. Just taste like home. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲 but the Atomsphere is a little dry, It’s clean and modern and everything but the place could use a little more Jamaican Flare. Maybe More Jamaican art or Photography it looks like a business lunch room 🤷🏽‍♀️

I don't understand how you increase your prices on the oxtails but decrease the amount you give someone. You use to get 6 pieces with the dinner and 4 with the lunch but now you get 4 with dinner and 3 with lunch and the prices of them have increased we'll over 20 dollars for both meals. I have been a customer since 2018 but no longer will I come here. Straight rip off man! If the price increase so should your quantity.

The jerk chicken is packed with flavor and has just the right level of heat to live up to its name. While it’s juicy and tender enough for the meat to fall off the bone, it could use a bit more of that signature pimento wood aroma to round out the experience. We also tried the curry goat, which was delicious — tender and well-seasoned, without any overpowering gaminess.

The vegetable and beef patties were also very good, though we do wish chicken patties were on the menu. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant's décor added a nice touch to the overall dining experience.

I can only speak to the Jerk chicken meal. Rice and peas and cabbage were bland! Jerk chicken was low mid(4 out of 10.) For a place with SPICE in the name, there is none to be found in the food

Nice clean spot and the food was ready. I was born in Jamaica and owned a jamaican restaurant before. You cant go wrong with the curry goat and rice and Pease. The oxails were just OK and the jerk is decent. No go on the beef patties too. I would definitely go again for the goat. Maa aaa aaa aaa.
