0/10 THIS IS NOT HAITIAN FOOD! The macaroni was the American way . It wasn’t even Haitian macaroni. The fried chicken I ordered was dry no taste , no Epis no seasoning. DISGUSTING!! The rice was sweet. The jerk chicken had no sauce to it and was dry. The plaintains were dry. Honestly , a waste of money. It was disgusting . Do not recommend. This is NOT HAITIAN FOOD . I didn’t even taste no seasoning when I bit in my fried chicken. Def made the American way. It was VERY DRY!! I also ordered a PATE KODÈ that was VERY SALTY! 0/10 . Would not come back here . I know what good Haitian food taste like & that’s not HAITIAN FOOD . Didn’t even eat the food took the first bite & threw it right away. No good . I’m sorry but that is NOT HAITIAN FOOD! A disrespect to my culture.

They responded quickly when we first reached out, worked with us to explore menu options, and even provided a taste testing to ensure everything was just right. They visited the venue in advance to plan, arrived on time, and went above and beyond on the day of the event.
And the food… AMAZING is an understatement! Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. We had more than enough, and our guests devoured every bite—the venue staff even commented it was the first time they had seen the food completely gone at an event. Chef JJ Creations even helped with cutting and serving our cake, which was such a thoughtful touch.

I had the jerk chicken and haitian fried chicken, they were both fantastic and cooked perfectly. The rice and peas was delicious and the plantains and rasta pasta were also great. My only complaint was that the portion was a bit small for the price ($22). Overall, 9/10 would definitely have it again.

Chef JJ and his team worked so hard to make a super memorable private dinner for my fiancés birthday. We were both floored by the decor and quality of the food. The team was so gracious and attentive. We have leftovers for days and I cannot thank you enjoy for making the evening so special for us!

My wife and I have 2 kids and we are business owners. I was tired of cooking multiple times per week and needed a way to buy back our time while still eating healthy and nourishing our bodies for what we love to do the most: Exercise! We wanted a local meal plan option that included flavors and tastes of our culture and upbringing while also supporting black owned businesses. I was extremely lucky to have found ChefJJ and his team! After a series of emails to tailor a menu specific to our dietary preferences, tastes, and likings we spoke on the phone to finalize our first order! Chef JJ laid everything out with full transparency and answered all of my questions. He was incredibly personable and genuine; it felt like I was talking with my own fam back home! He sent us an invoice right on time just as he said; payment was easy. I pulled up to pick up my food and Chef JJ greeted me himself and handed me our order. I was not prepared for how HEAVY this bag of meals was. These meals were made RIGHT! Generous portions! I mean, one of these meals could be for two! I was pleasantly surprised. We got ten meals which included 5 different menu options. The meal in the picture attached is a Baked Trout dish with quinoa medley, carrots, and kale. My wife was the first to try a shrimp dish and she literally said out loud, “THIS FOOD IS GREAT!” I tried it and couldn’t have been happier. The fish was flavorful, the rice and quinoa dishes were all cooked to the perfect texture. And you felt full after one meal. My wife could even get 2 meals out of one. We are super grateful for Chef JJ and his team. Plus I know he has an incredible food truck with a great carribean menu we have to try. If you want delicious food; get with Chef JJ Creations and Tropical Eatz. You will not be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of trying Tropical Eatz food truck at the art festival last weekend. It was delicious! I had the stewed chicken meal which included a side and a marinated salad type thing. I don’t remember the name but I loved it all. I generally am not a fan of drumsticks but omg were they good! The people are so pleasant, happy and kind. I’ll be sure to visit their location and encourage others to try it.

This place USED to be my best kept secret……however, I could no longer gate keep. If they are open, I am making sure to get my order in! Their food is BEYOND amazing!!! Their customer service is TOP TIER, like Publix and Target level.
As a mom that feeds a family of 7, their portion sizes fit well for our family. The price point for HOMEMADE AUTHENTIC food is perfect. Nothing is microwaved!!!!

I love Tropical Eatz so much, my Friday ritual!! They were closed for a week and I checked everyday for a change in their schedule because their salmon is so perfectly cooked each time ? My husband loves their jerk chicken and beef patties, I really enjoy the Rasta Pasta ? the Jamaican rice & peas and the Haitian rice are both delicious. Also make sure to try the weekly specials! They’re so great, they even let me order a plantain waffle one week without meat since I’m a pescatarian (salmon and waffle omg). And their customer service is great, can’t recommend enough! Make sure to pre-order to avoid the line. And the island twist drink is also very delicious, not too sweet.
