If I could give this place 6 stars I would. What an amazing time my wifey and I had there for lunch. Cindy and her 2 home girls were hilarious, it was more of an experience than just a lunch. We found this place around 420pm and we were extra Hungry, the sammiches were great, potatoes were great, the drinks and dessert was great. It felt like we were invited over a friend's house and they spoiled us with some awesome eats. Looking forward to going back ?

Such lovely ladies who own this place!! I was a bit confused and hesitant by the location, but don’t let that stop you. The oatmeal raisin cookies were SO GOOD!! I will definitely be back for more and to try their breakfast sandwiches.

We were drawn to this place by the great reviews! First time visiting this bakery / café even if we've worked in Gainesville for over 3 years. What a cute store - it certainly has the mom n' pop charm that you don't see in commercialized areas. Lots of little knick knacks and children's nostalgic toys around. Some items have price tags, some have tags "Not for Sale".Cheryl was the kind lady at the counter. She mentioned she was understaffed, and luckily, we didn't mind the wait. There was 1 customer at the counter and 2 ladies sitting at one of the tables when we arrived. It took about 7 minutes for Cheryl to finish with the previous customer, and then she took our order. We were interested in cookies and brownies for a work meeting, so she offered a mix of a dozen chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies plus a few brownie bites. My husband ordered an egg n' cheese sandwich as a snack. The total order was about $23 with a generous tip. At the meeting, the brownies disappeared first, then the chocolate chip cookies, and lastly, the oatmeal cookies. The food was a hit. Gone so fast that I didn't even get to taste a cookie ? but everyone seemed to like it and commented on how the treats tasted homemade like a favorite grandma would bake. My husband said the egg sandwich was made well. I had the side of potatoes that went with the sandwich; those were also tasty.I will be back again to visit when I don't have a work meeting to try these treats and maybe get a sandwich for myself as well!Location: Don't let the location of the café turn you away. The inside is clean and tidy. Cheryl is a good egg ✅️ and we didn't meet Cindy, but if she's as charming as Cheryl, then we're looking forward to our next visit even more?Parking: Parking: There is a gravel lot across the street, and space is very limited. When we were there (about 2pm on a Wednesday), there were only 3 spots open aside from the one we parked in.

This place is truly a find! The experience starts when you call your order in. The voice on the other end of the phone was great. As soon as you walk in the place you're greeted by the store mascot, who I assure you will grab your attention when she comes up to say hello! Give her a treat, and she's yours forever.I took my order to go for my office that day. The ladies threw some potato sides in with our sandwiches and some cookies! Oh my, these cookies!Overall, this was one of the more pleasant experiences I've had in an eating establishment in a very long time.I look forward to many return visits.Great job ladies!

Cindy was so friendly and welcoming! Our food was delicious, and I loved that my brix (bratwurst) was wrapped in bread with the sauerkraut so nothing fell out while I was eating it. I can't wait to go back and try the polish sausage (pix). Do yourself a favor and order the garlic knots - they were amazing! Also, don't skip the baked goods. What a delicious brownie and the toffee was also excellent!Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the Foosball table and other games that were available to play. We had so much fun!

So glad I found this little restaurant with homecooked dishes, serving all meals. Includes several Vegetarian and Vegan menu items. There are lots of sandwich options - on homemade bread (e.g. Reuben, Cuban, Montecristo), as well as soups, lasagna and manicotti, daily specials, 'balls' that I didn't try, but was told there are similar to sliders; homemade sweets, and more; and free parking. You can also pre-order casseroles to bring home to the family. The restaurant was lovely and clean, and the owner was as hospitable as can be. I will definitely be back soon.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and vegan options, including casseroles that can be pre-orderedKid-friendliness: Very child-friendly atmosphereParking: Parking is in an empty lot diagonal across a small street

All I can say is wow, the food isn’t like anything I’ve seen in Gainesville, the bread is freshly made by the owner daily and they treat you as family. It’s nice to see such genuine people still existing, they said they treat it as a ministry where everyone can come and feel safe and that’s exactly how it felt, I couldn’t recommend this spot more <3 see ya soon CindyThey also took me back into the kitchen instantly without hesitation and I can confirm everything is tidy and clean
