The Cold Stone locations have some of the best ice cream in Gainesville so you can't go wrong. But specifically at this location lately the service has been very prompt and the employes seem very dedicated, especially Parker who made my ice cream tonight. Both employees made sure to wash their hands and to wear gloves which I appreciate. Given that the ice cream is made to order and it can melt I have given up on trying to use delivery services and just go and get it myself which always works out better and is really fast anyway.
Parking: There are a fair number of spots directly in front of the store but if they are full the neighboring parking lots for all the other businesses could easily be used.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of open space and tables and nothing dangerous For kids. Plus kids love ice cream.

Had my first cold stone yesterday and was served by jacob i loved it the ice cream was the best i’ve ever had and jacob was great i also am really picky with ice cream and only eat cookie dough so i am a good judge of cookie dough and there’s was phenomenal

I ordered cold stone creamery on GrubHub for delivery! I didn’t only do it because I was craving ice cream, I did it because I was really curious if the ice cream was going to show up melted lol. So I got the cookie dough peanut butter with Reese’s pieces, peanut butter cups, and some sugar crystals and it was really good! Definitely rich and flavor if you’re into that stuff! And as for the ice cream being melted lol it sure was but that’s not on cold stone creamery or GrubHub for that matter! Who the heck orders ice cream for delivery?… all in all cold Stone creamery is pretty good and I’ll have to go to the store next time!

The store though, yikes!I ordered a custom cake 5 days ago for pick up. Got there today. No cake. The single employee there said if I agreed, they’d write the single “E” on the cake, but that piping is not their strong suit. I agreed.Again, this employee told me they could do it with a caution in quality. They were fine. They asked me. I agreed. They did their best.The fact that the only customization request was E. A single letter. And Cold Stone couldn’t get that done in 5 days?Don’t do cake business here, unless there are 0 letters on your cake.

The payment machine went down after me waiting for 10 minutes. The customer behind me had a child and made them leave too since they couldn't charge. Making a kid leave with no ice cream is not good service. At least give the kid for free. Just bad decision making by the employee with red hair and glasses.

Tons of great flavors and toppings to choose from! This store is clean, staff handled ice cream and utensils very well and bathroom was clean as well! Shout out to our ice cream expert Park! Park was kind, patient, and handled the line of about 10 people like a boss! Great job and I’ll be back for sure!

There are two Cold Stone Creameries in Gainesville, Florida - one on Archer Road and the other one on Newberry Road., which is the one that we visited. I’m kinda use to talking with everyone I meet, but I barely got three words out of the two people working there. However, they were professional and nice, and I guess silence did give consent for a mighty fine scoop of German Chocolate Cake Ice Cream, and I guess that is what counts. We look forward to visiting there at least once every other month.
