It took the waiter 25 minutes to get our drinks. Food was good, but very limited menu for lunch.
Specialty cocktails were quite tasty. I enjoyed my Caesar salad and ribeye but my dinner companion was less happy with her brussel sprouts and salmon. Decor and view were very pleasant.
We visited for my husband's birthday dinner. He has celiac and they remembered from my notes on the reservation, and were very responsive. The drinks were terrific and the food was very good. We enjoyed the live music and only wish it had gone on a little longer. They offered a free dessert for the birthday boy and that was such a generous touch. We had a really nice evening.
Excellent food and cocktails. Sat at the bar with a friend to celebrate. Good food, great service.
Our meal was perfectly prepared. Our server was friendly and helpful in selecting out meals. The restaurant is noisier than we like, but that's just us. Finally, the live jazz band created the only negative vibe for us. Again, this is just a personal taste issue. The food and service are impeccable.
What a little gem hidden away in a hotel in Gainesville. Excellent all around!

Complementary valet packing. Nice food. Great environment. My wife and I enjoyed it. Thanks.
Good, not great.
We popped for a quick dinner. The hotel looks like a newer, trandier one.
The menu was not updated on the website, so we were slightly surprised. Tried the Ribeye and Flat Iron steak, preferred the second. They were also testing their key lime pie, and I have to say, it was pretty good!
While we'd cook better dinner ourselves, it was ok. It's still a solid option, just nothing special.
The server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the gluten free options.

As thanksgiving day restaurants go Covey kitchen is not exactly how mama used to make. This was more miss than hit. An overly seasoned turkey was the food low point. Mashed potatoes and salads fared a bit better. Service was below average. And the $148 charge ,,(18 percent was automatically added on for dinner for two) was definitely overpriced

We just ate at Covey. Everything was great. We had a bottle of wine that was affordable and delicious. Great appetizer with the trio. The flat iron steak was amazing. The best part was the wonderful service from Florence!

Food and drinks were spectacular! Unfortunately I had a server whose name was Flo who may be inexperienced but she frankly ruined our experience

The bar is great, the drinks are great, the live music is great. However, do NOT go here for the food. The menu sounds so good but everything is underwhelming. The flank steak was so chewy and over cooked. The mashed potatoes had zero seasoning, were cold and full of raw potatoes. The bologanse tasted like dish water.
The smoked fish pate was good, I suspect because it didn't require cooking.

This restaurant is above-par for in-hotel dining. Appetizers including smoked fish and beef dish were superb and generously portioned. Pasta Bolognese main was uninspired. Atmosphere was quiet but view of pond with fountains and lighting was quite nice.
The online menu does not match the tablet menu offered for Saturday brunch. We were all a little disappointed. The atmosphere is fabulous and the service was excellent.
