Covey Kitchen + Cocktails

Located inside the Eleo hotel it’s convenient. My drink was great and my food was good. It has more of “older people” vibe to be honest even though it’s near UF. So I think if you are a bit older I think you will enjoy this place. It has outdoor seating as well. It’s definitely not trendy , but a solid 4 star place.

Great atmosphere - floor to ceiling windows for 1/2 the room!, spacious between tables, outdoor patio facing fountains, great service, very good food and decent menue choices. We will be back!

Very nice meal we had rib eye and a 1/2 roast chicken with garlic mash - sadly the broccoli was very tough including the florets Overall very good

Appetizers were good. Main dishes were mostly ok, except for one steak. Side veggies were cold. Service was attentive, but no interaction with management after issues were identified. Not worth the cost. Will not return.

Maybe the cook was having a bad day or something. All the food was presented beautifully, but the $50 steak was overcooked and chewy. The vegetables were undercooked. The tuna tacos were extremely fishy. The French onion soup had a very strange taste. The service was great and the vibe was great. The food unfortunately was not.

Outstanding service, great food at reasonable pricing. Really enjoy the atmosphere at this restaurant.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Food was good and convient if your staying in the hotel. Nice atmosphere! We made a mistake in ordering something with nuts (we were gonna eat the cost since it was our fault for not reading the description) but they insisted to remake it for us! Florence was our server and a gentleman who I assume was the manager helped us as well. The service can for sure make or break a location, and even if the food wasn’t the best we would still return for the customer service. (husband said to emphasize the food was very good)

Only reason for less than 5stars in each category was the Lemoncello breakfast drinks were expensive and less than pleasingly adorned with fresh fruit of some kind.

Neo was our server for a part of 10 on the patio. A perfect venue with outstanding service for our large group just before the UFDC commencement. Food quality excellent as was the presentation. The shaved brussel sprouts salad adding grilled local shrimp, the burger, blackened fish and the cuban were big hits. We would go back....

They had a buffet and that wasn't advertised to us. We wanted to be served with their normal menu. The buffet was very dirty and spoons were in the wrong place which caused cross usage. We paid over $200 dollars for a dirty brunch.

We went on Mother's Day for a late lunch. We weren't told with the reservation ahead of time, but apparently this meant it was a buffet. Not sure if that's an issue with OpenTable or the restaurant, but it wasn't what we were expecting. There isn't any parking at the hotel except for valet, which was free but still not ideal. The restaurant was quite noisy due to it being one large open space with no noise dampening. The food was bland and disappointing. My cocktail was good, but my mother's was terrible. Service was slow and distracted. My mother's cocktail sat at the bar for 5 minutes after they'd brought the other drinks over. The bartender left the bar area and just left it sitting there, and none of the other wait staff noticed until we flagged someone down. In the end, it cost over 50 dollars per person (including the drinks), with an automatic gratuity added for a table of 3. Awful food, slow service, and high prices. We won't be going back.

I made reservations for Mother's Day after looking at their menu online, which had steak and salad options (which is what my Mom requested for Mother's Day). When we arrived, there was just a buffet. It was tasty, but not why I had picked that place. Service was great.
