We were visiting Gainesville to see UF and my cursory Yelp search for a lunch spot brought up this place. Little did I realize it was located in the hotel I was staying at. Normally, hotel restaurants are meh, so the good rating stood out. Upon being seated, we received an iPad with the menu on it. The menu was easy to navigate and had something for everyone. Compared to the DC areas, prices were moderate. I ended up getting the tuna nachos and ceviche for an appetizer. We also split a cuban sandwich, a steak sandwich, and a French onion grilled cheese. All were excellent. Service was attentive and timely. Definitely a spot to visit when in Gainesville.

We went there today for Easter brunch. well priced at $40pp, drinks additional. Nice selection of food, omelette station always a favorite, delicious eggs benedict cooked to perfection. Overall nice ambiance not very loud , good service. they do add 18% gratuity even to parties of 2, however I do understand some people are horrible tippers. I would recommend if they have it next year. One suggestion would be they should move the host stand to the lobby main entrance due to limited space the buffet dessert table was blocked by people trying to get seated.

This is an amazing restaurant and Bar!!!! The staff very friendly!!!! They have a live Band playing.... So why is this such an amazing experience, my wife had to have test at University Of Miami Hospital. Yes that correct. The Hospital has a Hotel name of Hotel ELEO all rooms are suites with Cafe Nespresso machines. I booked online and when I asked for a late check out due my wife have test done they refunded me rate and discount room !!!!! Highly recommend and never disappoints 2 time at hotel 1st time was for a game...

About 15 minutes after being seated, nobody had come to say hello or take our drink orders. I had to go ask the manager what was going on. When he brought the server over, she seemed a bit peeved. I asked about getting Feta in an omelet and she said flatly “we don't have that.” I mentioned how feta was an ingredient in a different menu item and her response was “I'll have to go look.” So I ordered the corned beef hash, which turned out not to be a hash, but just a pile of overly-salty corned beef. Oh, and the coffee was terrible.

Food was fantastic , definitely try the yellow tail. Drinks were on point. Kendall the bartender had the best attitude and was very knowledgeable on classic cocktails.

I took my family to what I thought would be a pleasant evening at Covey Kitchen for supper the other night. Our waitress, Kendal, handled us so poorly, to say we were disappointed would be an understatement. When my family and I gather for a pleasant sit-down meal, I do not expect to be met with a 15-year-old's attitude. I will not be going back, unfortunately. She was incredibly disrespectful and acted as if serving us was the last place on earth she wanted to be, not to mention we could hear her griping about her problems as there is an open kitchen with a grass like mural for separation from the dining room. Please hire people more carefully, especially when I'm paying to dine at a nice restaurant.

This place has to be a strong contender for Most Overrated in Gainesville, which is saying a lot. The service was completely incompetent!! The food average at best and overpriced. It avoids one star because the bar is pretty good, they mix a capable drink.

This was a pleasant surprise for a hotel restaurant. The food was good, the service also and it was priced fairly. We just wish there had been more choices as we found the menu a little lacking. That said we would definitely go back next time we're in town.

We went on Valentine's Day, and I'd like to preface this by saying that I believe they were over booked and understaffed. But while the service was very friendly, it was also incredibly slow. It probably took about a half an hour from when we sat down to get our first appetizer. The drinks were fairly bland, and the food, while seemingly high quality, was nothing to write home about from a flavor perspective. The ambiance, at least, was elegant and well done, but there wasn't much to recommend past this.

Big disappointment. The place has the ambience of a small middle school cafeteria. Super plain and noisy. The space is quite small and crammed with tables and chairs. No chance for a cozy and intimate Valentines Dinner. We ordered the Valentines Day dinner hoping the chef would put his best possible product on our table. The food was okay but not great. The price was exceptionally high relative to the not very exceptional cuisine. Service was absurdly slow and inattentive. All and all, a costly mistake.
