Went to David's on 23rd for a quick lunch bite... only went for the awesome chopped POG... ordered the working persons special. From previously working at 39th location 20+ years ago its always been a favorite. Maybe I'm b biased! My sandwich was AMAZING! The fried okra, VERY disappointed! Hardly any batter on it at all! Maybe I should have stuck with the POG... 😕

So disappointed in lunch. Asked for sliced pork but they had none. Opted for chopped with reassurance that it wasn't full of hard bits. It was, and very, very dry, almost ground, and tasteless- no smokey flavor- not what you'd expect for pork. No juice. No sauce. 5 onion rings which may or may not typical, were tasty and ranch was offered for them. Just not the caliber of food I was expecting from David's. I've gotten breakfast there many times and catered in lunch for work after co workers were pleased. Hopefully today was a one off.

The food looked pretty good, but I could not enjoy it. The restaurant was dirty (floors, tables, and bathroom). Until some major cleaning is done, I will not be returning.

I’ve been eating at David’s for many years, but over the past few months, the service and quality have really gone downhill—both in the food and customer service. When you order online, you often don’t receive exactly what you ordered, and when you go to pick it up, no one even tells you that substitutions or changes were made.
David’s used to be known for their great biscuits, but lately, they haven’t even been fully cooked. The whole sandwich falls apart in your hand because of the undercooked biscuit. I’ve also asked for my bacon to be cooked a certain way, and they just make it however they want.
Most recently, I went in at 7 AM (when they’re supposed to be open), and the door was still locked. I really like supporting local businesses, but this is the kind of experience that drives people away.

Location is kept clean and tidy, staff is kind and know their BBQ. Food is good quality at decent prices. Keep an eye out for their daily specials!
This is worth a stop for sure. Grab the pulled pork sandwiches on Tuesdays! Go ahead and fall in love with one of their sauces while you're there, you can buy a bottle to take home with you.

I called in an order for a cheeseburger and an pepsi. My bun was 2 tops and the burger was so thin and tasteless. David's used to have thick juicy burgers but not anymore. $12:00 for my food. I will not be back.

Bobby and his David’s barbecue and catering team absolutely made our wedding a masterpiece. Bobby is a master of his craft and was tremendously helpful with ideas, options, first class service! He is creative, thoughtful, professional, but somehow at our wedding he and his crew were invisible but Then suddenly a hand would appear with a plate, glass or assistance as if they were magicians. Immediately following the service as soon as my bride and I exited the courtyard and onto the landing, one of the caterers appeared holding two glasses of water and a small plate of hors d’oeuvres with a congratulatory statement. Bobby also coordinated with our cake delivery personnel, and another supplier providing display racks. These folks think of everything! Bobby came to me part of the way through the reception with a nudge to collect the wedding gifts from the bird cage he provided for envelope drop off and escorted me out to collect it, and they loaded the extra drink supplies and a vehicle for us. He and his crew are top-notch and I recommend them 100% of the time.

Started going a few weeks ago. I've always driven past it in the afternoon but never stopped because I cut back on certain foods. I was riding past one morning and the parking lot was full. I though why are people there early in the morning can't be BBQ. So I decided to stop and see what they were selling and I'll be d*****, Behold a whole breakfast menu. I ended up getting a bacon egg and cheese everything bagel along with an almerpalmer, and I've been going every since. Everything on that breakfast menu has to be great everything I've had thus far has been great. The people are nice the prices are reasonable and everything is made fresh. Can't beat that.
