This is the OG charcuterie spot that was doing it before it was cool. The back patio is perfect for a glass of wine and a board. Highly recommend going here while you wait to get seated for dinner at the Top. Sometimes they have jazz out back which is wonderful!

I was really excited to try this place because I love charcuterie and wine. However, I was very let down. I ordered their meat charcuterie and baked Brie. The baked brie was somewhat cold and still hard. The jam on top was tasty but it was not worth the price. The meat charcuterie looked like those Publix salami deli packages. It was embarrassing. But the worst part was that those 2 dishes and one bottle of wine (red blend $36) cost us a total of $102!!! Very overpriced. I would not recommend. If you want good charcuterie go somewhere else.... I promise it will be better and cheaper.

I've been to Gainesville Wine and Cheese a couple times before and have always had a wonderful experience. However, they put a dent in my birthday celebrations by saying they forgot someone else had booked out the whole place and there was no room for my boyfriend and I. I did receive a 40$ gift certificate but I will be taking my business elsewhere since my boyfriend works nights and we have limited time together. Make sure you call them before you go even if you have a reservation.

Date Night- at home or in shop is so easy and positively delightful. A wonderful assortment of meats and cheeses and all the fixings, delightful staff with great recommendations at the ready, and a great selection of goodies. Can’t wait to go back

Ordered the Mother's Day brunch delivery for my mom today, and she said everything was incredible! Everyone from the woman who took my order to the gentleman who delivered was friendly and made everything so easy. DWC has been a long time favorite Gville gem of mine. Their wine and cheese tastings are a great time in their cozy space. I've even gone to their haunted house last Halloween and it definitely exceeded my expectations aka I was more terrified than i thought. Almost as or more scary than HHN for sure. Anyways, I just wanted to make a quick review to support this business during this time by ordering wine or MIMOSAS to go/delivery. It was one of my friends birthday today and I ordered mimosas for delivery. Phenomenal service and response to when I ordered and when they arrived. Also such a good deal to order mimosas delivered since it comes with a whole champagne bottle, orange juice and 2 flutes! They were very fast in responding to calls/texts to make sure it all went smoothly. Please support DWC and all the other small businesses right now as they go above and beyond to still serve us Gainesville folks!

I love it here. The atmosphere is great and the cheese plates are so good. I personally love the herbed goat cheese and the baked Brie. It's nice that you can buy by the glass or just buy a bottle and split it. Parking is also easy as the lot near it lifts at 5:30. Downtown wine and cheese owns my heart. It's the perfect girls night or date night or simply a nice "treat yourself" night!
