One of the better Gainesville bars! Formally known as 8 seconds and then Knockin’ Boots, Vivid is still a line dancing country bar at heart. Thursday-Saturday, unless otherwise specified, are line dancing. You can check their facebook or instagram to see what is going on that night. Cover is always $10-15 even if you’re 21 (but you can enter as an 18y/o).
They also host lots of themed ticketed events, such as emo nite (included in pics/vids). Some of these you really have to pre-purchase your ticket if you have hopes of getting in. Either way, you’re bound to have a great time!

Went there for Bingo Loco and it was a blast! You must go! Not much bingo but lots of crazy fun!!!!! Leave the daubers at home ladies! This ain't your ordinary bingo, trust me! If you win, you're still going to have to EARN THAT PRIZE! OMG! SO FUN! JUST GO!

Vivid is always the spot for line dancing over the last few years. The staff is always so kind. The manager Josh is always understanding and helpful if issues do arise.

Girl bartender took my $10 bill for a dirty Shirley and didn’t give any change back. I’m not sure what the price was of the drink bc there wasn’t a menu at her bar, and she didn’t tell me how much it was. Whatever tho I guess that’s the only way u can get tips. I was just trying to have fun and didn’t want to ruin our night by saying something, but girl….that was rude
Went to see Joey McIntyre. I've been waiting to see him for 40 years. I'm still in shock that it even happened.
Drove here from port Richey to see a show last night. The venue was great from beginning to end! Security was polite. Bartenders were fantastic and friendly. The manager, Josh, was very helpful with any questions I had. The venue itself is intimate with standing room below and balconies with seating above. I prefer a low capacity place to enjoy music. The bathroom was clean (5 stars for sure for this). Located close enough to the Hampton Inn to walk to and from.
