I normally like this place but my last visit was disappointing.My burger had a small tempeh slice that only covered half, with the other half being bread. It was disappointing as I paid extra for tempeh but received less than expected.

El Indio Mexican Restaurant is my favorite spot for quick and tasty Mexican food! Their burritos are huge and filled with flavorful ingredients, and the salsa bar adds an extra kick to every bite. It's my go-to place when I need a satisfying meal on the go.
We have been going here for years. Consistently excellent. Carnitas burrito is amazing.

They used to get my order wrong a lot, but for the past couple of years, like since 2022, they have not made any mistakes. And I come to the 34th st location a couple times per month. This food is so good. They have the best chicken chimi in Gainesville. Lots of vegetarian options too.Vegetarian options: TempehKid-friendliness: Kids meals

I went the other night looking for a quick meal. It's always been good in the past. This time it was not as expected. I ordered 3 hard tacos. I got more onions than meat. I've never had onions before. Not a fan. I didn't get any lettuce or cheese. I had even recommended this place to a friend who was looking for a quick dinner. She had the same complaint. I live practically across the street but it will be hard to go back after this disappointing meal.

Met my family for lunch here, so there was 6 of us. Employees were polite and efficient. Food was quick and delicious. They have a drive-thru plus indoor and outdoor seating. Their veggie tacos are phenomenal. My husband loves the fish tacos here and my kid is obsessed with their chips and queso. My dad ordered a meal so he got 2 tacos plus beans and rice that was a good deal for the amount of food. They have a location on 13th St near UF that's tasty as well but it doesn't have indoor seating. If you like Mexican cuisine and you're visiting Gainesville you'd be doing yourself a disservice not stopping by one of their locations.Vegetarian options: I'm vegan, they have veggie options and are good about removing dairy if requested.Parking: It's a shopping plaza with ample parking spots
