Very disappointed with my visit today. The place has gone downhill since I was here over a year ago.
I picked up a to-go platter, and the portions were much smaller than before. They didn’t include any pita bread, even though it’s listed as part of the platter on the menu. Not the value or quality I used to expect.

I do not usually do reviews but this was a disappointing experience. For starters the lady who was working was rude and unwelcoming. The food was cold. I order the falafel pita wrap and ironically enough for a restaurant to be called “Falafel King” the falafel was dry and lacked flavor. I will not be going back.

This was our first time to eat in this restaurant, well after we went in is was kind of small, as we started to sit down our server name Chelsea came up with the menu and for a small restaurant that food was incredibly delicious from the Lamb chop platter and Greek Salad and Mediterranean Platter to the Smoothie and Cashew Finger Baklava, I don’t know where we can eat so good and so much in an incredible restaurant with beautiful drawings in the wall, next time you are in Gainesville stop and don’t let the small place turn you away go in and try and you will be back,
so good we didn’t even get take photos of the food cause we inhaled it :))

We stopped by yesterday at king falafel for lunch. The cashier was not welcoming at all she warmed the left over food in microwave and brought it it in 5 minutes. Rice were old and the meat was dry and hard to chew. We all got sick the same day with diarrhea and throwing up. Not recommended to buy food from this place
