Server was great! Food very average or below. Maybe just a bad day. Would not go back.

Yall don't get it. This is the place. I went in ignorant. Our waitress was very nice, upbeat (I didn't catch her name but she was a black girl and so fun) and the food ? the food was ...awe inspiring. The fried green tomatoes were the best I've EVER had. The grits, eggs and sausage were basic but good, but the sausage gravy???? Insane. Brilliant. Wasn't a fan of the honey butter tbh but that's probably just a me thing.

Please update your closing hours on Sundays. It says 3pm on Sundays and we were just turned away and told 2:30. Would have loved to try your restaurant!

Easy to have breakfast here! Everyone is friendly, and the food is delicious and filling without being expensive.

Kid-friendliness: There are tables large enough for big families and delicious kid options! My kids love it here!

I ordered biscuit egg and gravy. Grits and a biscuit were my sides. They were all good. The apple butter was an extra I appreciated. Service to go was fast. They also have a few booths for outdoor seating.

Parking: It's located in a plaza. And there's plenty of parking.

My favorite place for breakfast in Gainesville! Definitely try to get there early as it fills up quick! Food is always good! Service staff always friendly and welcoming. We got the dirty bird waffle and the piedmont omelette. The grits are fluffy and tasty! Biscuit with apple jam is top notch!

Food was good and server was nice & attentive, except…

We were in their small event room area in the corner. For some reason, it was 80+ degrees. Mentioned to the server at the start and she said “yeah, it’s usually hot in here” and said she’d mention to the manager. Offered ice water.

Stayed hot until we received our check, then the AC started blowing. Too little, too late.

If you come here, make sure you’re not seated in that room. No fans, no air circulation, and it’s loud!

Oh my oh my!
It was mine and my husband first time here today we are from Ocala . Food was sooo good!! We ordered the hangover hash, chorizo hash and the shrimp and grits! Out of this world!! Portion just right, flavor was there! Oh n when we got our biscuit WHATTTTTT! Sugar on top which never seen before but it was delicious and their jam!!!!! My pumpkin spice latte was so good too and we are not even in season for that!! Oh btw we need one of these in Ocala, FL.
