There are NO FLYING BISCUITS! My gf and I were really disappointed in there not being any biscuits, anywhere to be found.
Anyway! Food was decent. Got stuffed French toast and while it was good, it was covered with way to much of whatever they put on it. The homefries were delicious and tasty. Eggs were weird. Had a weird texture for over medium.
My gf had the waffle and she enjoyed it.
The server was great! My gf was interested in the cookie butter latte and the girl said it was terrible and she explained it to her why it was so bad. She even brought her out a sample of the syrup and my gf confirmed it was gross. It had a chemical flavor that was nasty. We appreciate the honesty of the server as thats missing in a lot of places. Other places/servers want to keep adding to the bill. It helps the restaurant but also increases the tipping amount. But this server took care of us first, before her own pocket and the store, which again is excellent.
Not in Gainsville often, but if I am during breakfast, id give it another shot.

It was My first time here. The wait was long but we did come on a Saturday mid-morning. I had chicken and waffles and I thought it was just okay. The service was okay but not spectacular. But it was extremely busy when I was there.

Wow, just WOW. The chicken gravy is heavenly. We arrived with three kids under three and they were friendly and accommodating. The waitress was the pinnacle of the service and soon we had amazing food. Portion sizes were spot on and both adults were stuffed with the kids splitting a dish. We will certainly be returning to try more menu items.
The Freebird biscuit was superb for the Skynyrd fan.
The Chorizo Hash was phenomenal for our native southwesterner.
Our kids loved the Flying Biscut Breakfast, substituting out the pork.
While they serve the standard pork dishes, it is bot inescapable and they have amazing food without it as a mandatory mix in (for those who abstain or can't eat pork this is a huge plus and hard to find).

Alyssa was great. I went for breakfast and she was running the bar like a skilled air traffic controller. Despite being very busy she still served all customers with a smile and was positive. She has a way of making the enviornment welcoming and personable. Glad she is there.

My goodness! What a delicious breakfast and the nicest atmosphere and the best service! Travel the ten minutes off the highway to go to The Flying Biscuit rather than having fast food. We had the Hollywood Omelette and the Garden Veggie Scramble. Both were incredible and so were the sides! Our personable server, Alana, was attentive with menu questions and coffee refills. She even made sure we had a coffee for the road! Who doesn’t like free refills? Oh, and do not pass on the apple butter! What a nice complement to the delectable biscuits! This was our first visit but will not be our last. I am already planning my next biscuit, apple butter, and coffee! We hope that Alana is our server again! Thanks for the attention to detail, The Flying Biscuit!

It was great. We were seated quickly and it was all uphill from there. The chicken sausage gravy was fantastic and would highly recommend it
