I ordered takeout but the space was so pleasant and charming that I wished I enjoyed it in.Today I tried the T.L.P. which really satisfied my blt craving and the BBQ Porq Sando which was delicious! The pickles cut the rich sweet taste perfectly. I’d order both again in a heartbeat but I want to try everything else first.You’ve got to try this place if you’re vegan. I’m not vegan and am now obsessed so you really should try it regardless.

Tim and John are a joy and their approach to vegan food is so filling, and I'm saying that as someone who eats anything. I've been a loyal customer to their food truck Monday's at the Grove Street Farmer's Market (I live for skrimp-their take on fried vegan shrimp that I could eat everyday), but they recently started dine-in service at their location next to SOMA and the brunch was delicious!

I had the Imitation Corvina sandwich this weekend over Fest. Best vegan sandwich I’ve had all year, the accompanying slaw was fresh and a great compliment, and the service was prompt and polite(the best one can hope for late into the day during a festival lol). Love them! Wish I lived in Gainesville so I could have their full menu.

I don't appreciate that they name everything after a meat sandwich only to read on and see it's just soy meat or seitan. Like I get it's a vegan restaurant but don't name it a chicken sandwich, a big po'boi, or a fried catfish if it's not actually that protein.

Delicious Cajun style meals that happen to be vegan. They have so much flavor. The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. The food quality is also excellent. I highly recommend the red beans and rice; it's perfectly spicy and very filling. I'm not a vegan, but any time I see Frenchman's in the neighborhood I come running. They are that good.
