We came in here today during a busy NFL Sunday no surprise they were busy! Our server Alex let us wait for a table with her and 30 minutes felt like a breeze thanks to her! We will absolutely be back to see her! Thank you Alex for taking such great care of us!

First time stopping at this place. In Gainesville. I thought I ordered the triple Decker club sandwich. What I received was I guess was a grilled chicken club on a hamburger bun.
I was taken back when my waiter came back after I gave him my order and asked me if I wanted my chicken grilled or fried. It's sort of threw me back a little bit I didn't have the menu in front of me anymore. So I never gave it a second thought. Honestly for 13.95. it was a sorry excuse for a chicken sandwich. But I guess I should have known better when at 12:30 there was hardly anybody in there. I will be coming up to north Florida hospital for some treatments for the next 5 weeks. It was actually looking for a place that I could go for lunch. It definitely won't be this place.
I have no problems with the waiter he did a very good job. The pub chips were okay. It's just pretty bad when you leave a restaurant and you're still hungry.

We enjoyed EXCELLENT service by Kelly on Sept 12. Efficient, professional, knowledgeable and absolutely made the mediocre food taste good.

I’ve given Gators Dockside two chances in the past couple of weeks, and both times were a big disappointment.
On my first visit, I ordered the Birria beef dinner. The beef was very dry, and the corn was burnt to the point of being inedible. I decided to give them another shot today, but unfortunately the French onion soup was even worse. It was so overcooked it tasted burnt, was extremely salty, and had the consistency of a stew instead of soup.
To make matters worse, one of my guests was charged for items that were supposed to come with her meal, and her salad had the hard core of the lettuce head in it.
The only positive I can mention is that the servers were friendly both times. But overall, neither I nor my guests enjoyed the food. The kitchen clearly needs a serious shake-up.

Great place, the Gator tails are delicious
Great food. Can't knock the service and atmosphere too badly. It was the first game day of the season and they weren't quite prepared for the rush. Lots of noisey children making messes and parents that aren't good at controlling them. Not the fault of the establishment, but still a detractor all in all would definitely recommend and yes, we'll be back again.
