I'm gonna start this off with REAL CHICKEN. AND AMAZING SEACRET SAUSE. I've gone here so many times its all high end ingredients with amazing atmosphere. This is one of the few places I can go to and just say "order water" it is the most refreshing drink after a hike through devils mill hopper. Great place and always eat their fries.

Parking: The lot they are in shares parking with 3 other businesses. Still with a loop around the empty building in the middle of the square you can find a spot.

Randomly stopped here for lunch. Never heard of the place. Got the KFC sandwich and it was so good. One of the best fried chicken sandwich’s I’ve had. The fries are amazing.

Incredible fried chicken, and Gluten Free options for bread AND the fried chicken itself. Atmosphere and service are amazing too. Fantastic choices for sandwiches and it feels amazing being able to eat GF Chicken sandwiches that are incredible! This has become one of my new favorite spots in GNV

First time in, and they were so nice! Helped me decide upon my order. Great quality. Beware that if you go spicy on the wings, get sauce in the side. Very good flavor, though! Nice draft beer.

Parking: Lots of parking spots, right up at the door.

What can I tell you, this restaurant brings neighborhood vibe but great elegance and what they do for their meals. I had the angry Bird sandwich and it was completely amazing. The heat mix with the additional sauce that they have with the proper amount of sweet pickles were a true testament to the time and quality that they put in to their sandwiches. My fiance had the honey chicken sandwich which was beyond fire, their egg rolls are amazing with their sauce. And their salad was so fresh with their lettuce and all the condiments with the homemade dressing which made it an amazing meal. Me being from the Raleigh North Carolina area, and my fiance being from the Charleston West Virginia area, we had an amazing time. The staff was friendly prompt with their service as well as very impressionable and willing to speak to the quality of their product. That also spoke volumes as their product is phenomenal.

The Honey Bird is to die for. This is a must stop every time we visit our daughter at the University of Florida.
I've had one of their other sandwiches and it was good but then discovered the Honey Bird and that sandwich is amazing.
I highly recommend trying Germains at least once.

I came across this place while searching for hidden gems in GNV. Overall, I must say I did enjoy my dining experience. I visited multiple times before forming an opinion and leaving a review. These are strictly my personal thoughts and preferences..

The good: Customer service was surperb - very clean and well kept - menu options (chicken focused) simple - THE SEASONAL LEMONADE (best strawberry lemonade that I've ever had) - the overall ambiance/aesthetic.. very welcoming and inviting.

The not so good: I liked every sandwhich that I tried but I can't say that I loved any of them. The more I ate the less I liked each one. The ranch fries were good in concept but too many flavors at one time for me - with the chicken sandwich being the star I think salted fries would compliment the sandwiches perfectly.

The bad: Overall I felt that everything was a tad bit overpriced - I do understand offering higher quality ingridents will cause prices to be higher. $14 for 8 wings and no dipping sauce is a bit much. $4 for a small lemonade that is mostly ice is a bit much (although it was GOOD). Sandwich meals should include drinks. I know it's easier said than done, but affordability is a big determinate for repeat customers.

Still a great spot to try if you are in the area. Keep killing it Germain's.

Literally the BEST fried chicken in Gainesville, FL. Hands down!

Try the Angry Bird sandwich if you like spicy food; it did not miss. It was so spicy and just perfect!

The french fries are seasoned with a homemade ranch flavor, and they were really good.

Wonderful hospitality as well, the staff was super friendly and helpful. Great customer service goes such a long way!

If you haven’t tried Germain’s Chicken Sandwiches yet, don’t sleep on them like I did.

Parking: There is a small-ish shared parking lot in front of the restaurant. It looks like it might fill up pretty quickly on busier days like Friday and Saturday. It is FREE to park though, which is a plus!
