Golden Buddha is a fantastic restaurant. My husband and i have been eating there for years. The veggie lo mein, garlic eggplant, and eggrolls are must orders. The owners are very nice. The interior of the restaurant is definitely eclectic but you come here for the food not the ambiance. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Golden Buddha forever
Absolutely the best Chinese food in Gainesville! While this restaurant is small the food packs a big punch! The flavors are authentic and the portions are huge! The owners are some of the most friendly people you will meet and despite how busy they are I always get my food faster than I expect. Anytime I am craving Chinese this is my go to.
Vegetarian options: I got stir fried veggies to add to my plate and it was loaded with a wonderful selection of veggies

Don’t be fooled by the outside or inside. Went here for some take out while in town and the food was fantastic…and had huge portion sizes. The spring rolls in particular felt fresh and wasn’t full of grease inside. And the gentleman brought us the food out to our car.
