The Lavender Lady is delicious! I will definitely be back for it. This place is a hidden gem for having large study groups. I had the whole place to myself, which was nice, but I want them to stay in business. I LOVE the decor. The only slight downside is that they no longer serve food, however, that also means you can save money and bring your own food to enjoy with their coffees/teas. 😊

Today, I decided to go to one of my favorite Gainesville coffee shops, Harper’s Corner. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they now serve authentic Jamaican food in addition to coffee and tea. This makes me feel right at home, because of my Jamaican roots. It’s such a great place to study, as you can get coffee or a fulfilling meal! Not to mention you can treat yourself to a little shopping after studying, as Urban Thread is right next door! If you’ve never had Jamaican food, I definitely recommend trying it. Miss Lily will serve you up a meal you’ll never forget!

The family was in a stressed-out grumpy mood all day until the ladies at Harper's Corner made everything better with a massive delicious heaped meal of oxtail, curried goat, plantain, breadfruit and freshly made mango juice.

The food is unbelievably good, reasonably priced, the place itself is comfortable and relaxed, and the ladies working there are friendly as heck. This place honestly rules.

Probably my favorite coffee sport in town, regarding different types of ranch coffee's. The lounge is relaxing and a house converted.
