HoWL is not just a teahouse. It is a community hub that feels like you've landed in your best friend's living room. The teas and beverages are expertly and lovingly crafted and the experiences bring joy and connection to all those that participate. I am grateful for this place and all the magic it brings into my life.

House of Waking Life (HOWL) is our amazing neighbor right next to Depot Village, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the supportive partnership we share. They are hands down the coolest tea shop in Gainesville, offering not just great tea, but also art, meditation spaces, and lively events. It’s a truly unique spot with a welcoming atmosphere that enriches the community. We love collaborating with them and encourage everyone to check it out—you’ll be glad you did!

If I were to embark on a stressful hero's journey in a young adult novel and finally make it to a secret garden right at the end of the story where the fairies explain how it all works and everything makes sense and is okay again, it would be at HOWL.

A gem of a place :). I always have the golden milk or one of the chocolate ones and they are all magnificent. Great place to relax, do homework or work.

Very good coffee and cacao. Environment was incredible and welcoming. Cool spot to spend a morning and chillax and tons of good books and tarot and art and curated decor.

Wow loved this place so much. The vibe is so great - the attention and love in the decor and space is echoed in the drinks too. The cacao was delicious. Highly recommend.
