“Our first time at this restaurant. Service was simply fantastic. Decor of the restaurant is really a step above most of the places in the Gainesville area especially for Indian food. I would definitely consider this a date night location. Food was fantastic and really enjoyable. The garlic naan is enough to make an Italian cry with joy. No question we will definitely be back as this will be our new favorite Indian restaurant in Gainesville.“

“The Mint was delightful... The three restaurant people that were there today were each so nice. I particularly go for Indian food on Sundays, and they even had a little conversation with me. I'm so glad that this restaurant is here in Gainesville!!! The prices at the Mint are very reasonable, whereas most prices everywhere have shot up sky high. I ordered the dosa masala, and the sambar soup and the coconut chutney were delicious. The sambar even had a hint of cinnamon, just a hint, and it could not have been better. I ordered the garlic naan and the bread is not a large size portion but it is plenty when you are paying $2 and change. I think that the restaurant works largely by the several delivery services. There are 3 big long tables there for families and single tables also. The dining area is not very big at all but it is sufficient for good food and good people serving you. Amy.“
