Best sushi in town! Best sushi in Gainesville.Yakitori is good but not the lamb. Lamb yakitori was well done and over seasoned. Wait staff are attentive and friendly but new busser was so noisy, ruining atmosphere during our entire dining experience, throwing dishware into bins and tossing chairs around. Like my parents washing dishes at 7:00 on a Saturday morning 🙉

I’ve had sushi and ramen all over the east coast and I can tell you that Kinya Ramen has the BEST by far!! The staff is so sweet, they have great hospitality, and the matcha tiramisu was so bold, lightly sweet and fluffy! I’m so impressed with their work, please check them out! :)

I had the honor of hosting a family meal here and I’m happy to write that everything went great! The place is well decorated, spacious and spotless. We were lucky to have Devoney as our waitress. She was knowledgeable, friendly, patient and fun! She didn’t rush us and let us proceed at our own pace.

We ordered two types of yakitori, gyoza and takoyaki for appetizers to share. They were generous portions with perfect presentation and fine tastes.

Everyone ordered their own main ramen and sushi. All reports were positive. The sushi for two people came on one well presented plate which was fun for sharing. Everything was delicious. My wonderful wife asked for some extra togarashi to spice things up a bit and they brought a generous portion. We even took some home with our leftovers.

Overall, it was a fun and delicious experience and we look forward to returning!
Life is good with a fun family meal!

I love coming here every chance I get. Its super yummy and the staff is always pleasant. The tonkotsu ramen and pork chasu rice bowl are the best! Today i tried their mango sorbet and its awesome. The anime themed interior gives it a really fun feel.

Best ramen in Gainesville! I love their ramen combo option. I usually get their tonkotsu ramen with takoyaki. A delightful pairing that works well with a pot of tea, sake, or beer. I'm not the biggest pork belly person, but even I cannot deny how good their chashu pork is with their flavorful ramen.

The sashimi sampler was a good amount of fish for the price. No complaints there.

You also can't go wrong with their yakitori. Their momo is a good option for picky eaters, and their chicken hearts are good if you are a little more adventurous.

The atmosphere can be a little lively, depending on the night, but it can also be more chill. It really depends on the evening.

Overall, a great option for a group of friends to share appetizers, eat some ramen or sushi, and enjoy a drink or two.

I always try out ramen when I travel to a new city and this place has great tonkotsu. My first judgement is on the properly boiled egg and they nailed it. The pork chashu had a perfect crisp but also extremely tender. The broth was also the creamiest I've ever tried. Absolutely worth stopping by here if you love ramen.

I’ve tried many Ramen places in Gainesville, I keep coming back to Kinya for its absolutely delicious food. Their service is fast and friendly, they have greatly social waitresses/waiters, and a wide menu. Prices are higher than others but still near market. Highly recommend the spicy ramen!!!

What was most impressive to me was the atmosphere and just how quickly they prepared our meals. Our waitress was also quite attentive at refilling waters and even offered me more chili paste for my spicy Ramen bowl without being asked (which I greatly appreciated!)

My friend and I both got Ramen combos, which included a Ramen of your chosing and an appetizer. Quite alot of food for around 22 dollars per combo. Overall it was a very satisfying meal and would go again in a heartbeat.
