Friendly staff who give warm smiles. I ordered the takoyaki and the peppered tuna tataki. I will definitely be ordering again! I have a hard time finding good takoyaki and they nailed it. Crispy outside, soft and flavorful inside. Smoky bonito flakes and sauces rounded it out. One order is definitely not enough. The tataki was cool, spicy, and melts in your mouth. Delicious!

The shrimp hibachi lunch was full of flavor and had tons of flavor. The shrimp was delicious and they didn't skimp on it as you can see. I like that it comes with sauce and a little salad with ginger dressing. I could eat here every day!?

This is a self serve type restaurant they do not have silverware. Everything is plasticware and get everything yourself. The tables were sticky and had food on them and when I asked to have something to wash it off, I was giving a towel that was just lying around, but they had been washing off other things with that was dirty. When I asked, they basically didn’t care. Food was ok.. for two people to have hibachi chicken, two drinks and crab Rangoon it was over $50

Ordered take out, chicken and shrimp hibachi and dragon roll. Dragon roll is fine but Chicken is rubbery, call back and advise he should let the chef know, Person who answered the phone just said sorry. Sounds like he doesn’t know how to handle food quality issue. I’m not asking for credit or nothing since I’m from out of town.

Run of the mill Americanized Japanese food establishment.We ordered the shrimp fried rice, the steak and chicken hibachi, and the shumai (sushi menu app).Fried rice was bland and the shrimp was slightly overcooked. I'd pass on it. You can get excellent fried rice for the same price and portion size right down the road at Sohao.The hibachi was okay; the vegetables were flavorful and tender, but everything else was pretty bland. The rice it came with was just plain white rice with a small amount of soy sauce—in a word, bland, and not the fried rice the menu says it comes with.The shumai (fried) was fine. Not much to say.Over all, this place reminds me of Chipotle—food isn't spectacular, but it's quick, and the interior environment is comfortable enough. I wouldn't seek it out and probably won't return. Gainesville has quite a few better Asian restaurants at the same price point.

Our Hibachi, chicken katsu and sushi were all perfect and delicious! We did takeout for our first Koto experience and it was ready when we arrived. Looking forward to dining in at the nice restaurant next time.

I went here with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised. The interior has a lot of space and the food service is rather quick which was nice considering the size of the crowd that was in there at the time. I got one of the sushi rolls and it was particularly good. I would recommend them if you're looking for good sushi quick or good hibachi quick. The hibachi meals in particular are a good value per dollar
