This’s our first time to visit this restaurant, honestly, disappointed, no else! The way to order you food is seem like Chipotle, but less meat, and a lot of rice ( a lot of rice, I thought the big box- $14.99–is only for rice), one of the order is pork chop, another one is shredded beef (I counted— 1.5 spoons, the older lady shook most of the meat back to her pot), tasted fair, not something outstanding. If I give a score, it should be 5.5 out of 10. Two people with 2 bottles water and food, totally $40, La Magritte is definitely better than this restaurant. Rice , rice, a lot of rice , No, I am not recommend this restaurant

Awesome place great folks here. Clean. Well thought out. Quick cafeteria style business with some of the best home cooked food of any business around. Food just like mom used to make. Everything we tried tasted great and interesting and authentic. And the value was really great. Highly recommend it. Go!

The food's gone from decent to downright pathetic in just a few months, Seems like the owner's pinching pennies while slapping higher prices on pitiful portions. Cheapskate move, honestly.

I miss good Latin food growing up Ecuadorian in south Florida where there was an abundance everywhere!! This is the only place in Gainesville that satisfies the cravings. So delicious every time. Most delicious place to eat in Gainesville by far.

Go, go, go! Get a bowl of whatever meat, beans, but get the coconut rice! Its amazing. I can't get past the mojo pork, black beans, coconut rice and plantains. There is enough food for at least two, maybe three meals, but it's so good that I always end up eating it all😬 then I'm stuffed, but it's sooooo worth it!

Same great food, but now you can get less of it for way more money!

Amazing. Will be coming back. Fresh hot food, the house-made limeade was amazing, and the service was quick and friendly. Will be coming back.
